I had a need to transfer money from my Chase Bank account to my United Community Bank account and needed advice on the best way to do so without having to drive to Flowery Branch, Ga to the nearest Chase Bank as a starting point. I was wanting to transfer more than the limit for the "take a picture of a check" option normally available for small transfers and that is why I visited the local UCBI branch for assistance. I was quickly informed that simply write a check to myself on the Chase account, deposit it into my UCBI account, wait for the money to clear from Chase to UCBI, and save the time and gas associated with an unnecessary 1 1/2 hr trip each way. Each banking question I've had since opening the accounts with UCBI for both personal and Estate needs have all been quickly and satisfactorily resolved by their pleasant, competent staff! THANKS!

My husband and I opened a checking account yesterday at United Community Bank. Our main banking is with a credit union in FL but we needed a little more flexibility with being able to deposit checks locally and withdraw cash. We arrived a little before our appointment time and Kayla was more than happy to help us with our banking needs. Kayla was extremely friendly and informative in explaining the different options we had. She was very thorough and answered all our questions. We are more than impressed with Kayla and United Community Bank. We are looking forward to doing business with them. Great job.
