Very happy with my first visit here, needed an alignment on an old van which proved difficult to zero in, but they persevered and got the job done, very knowledgeable, charged me standard rate even though it was being worked on for a number of hours, even ran passed closing but the Owners and mechanic stayed until it was done. Very pleased with my experience and will return and recommend to others in the future.

I’m not from Franklin. I was visiting from out of state and my Jeep broke down. The crew at Ridgecrest took care of me from the first call to having the Jeep towed quickly to getting the Jeep repaired. Very friendly and top notch service for a fair price. If you are from out of town this is a local garage you can trust. 5 stars. Roman Hammes

Very nice people, however I took my truck in after the check engine light came on and was told my timing chains and tension rods needed to be replaced. I spent over $4k on all the repairs, and got the truck back with the engine making constant ticking sounds (low end knocks), after a few attempts trying to fix the knocks I was told the entire engine needed to be replaced at over $9k, I do not recommend this shop after this experience.

Excellent Communication
First time using Ridgecrest. They were quick to diagnose the problem so we set an appointment for repairs. Finished quicker than expected so there was a reduction in cost compared to original quote. Appears great quality work performed in a professional shop. Will be using Ridgecrest again. Thank you to Zeus for displayed integrity throughout repairs.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO RIDGECREST AUTOMOTIVE.I took my truck to get serviced for two problems, it was grinding when taking a RH turn. Also, it would shake if you hit a hole a certain way; however, this was uncommon. After I dropped it off, they called and told me what they thought it needed. The list included upper and lower control arms for both sides, a wheel bearing, ball joints, a sway bar end link, and an alignment. I asked what it would cost, his said his estimate was $1,925. I told him to go ahead and fix it, to which he asked if I also wanted him to go ahead and order me some tires. I declined seeing as I was already paying almost $2,000 at one time. The next day they called me and told me to come get it, my balance was $2,000.88. The only thing I liked about Ridgecrest was they did give me a cash discount. I could not get my truck at the time so I just got the keys. As soon as I picked my truck up that night, I knew something was not correct. I was making a rattling sound like something was loose. It was not making this sound when I dropped it off. They left a bolt loose on one of the control arms, which I found as soon as I crawled under it. They never fixed the grinding either. I dropped it off the next Monday and told them what they had done. They went over everything and done another alignment, because I knew it wasn't in alignment if the passenger side had slack in it. They also tried to find the grinding again, which they thought they had fixed with the wheel bearing. Once they had "fixed" it this time, it done the exact same thing, nothing changed! It still sounded like something is loose and rattling. I took it back again, and had the owner ride with me to show him the sound it was making and to show him the grinding it was doing. He agreed and said something didn't sound right and that he would take another look at it. Today I got a call, and they said it needed tie rod ends and ANOTHER ALIGNMENT which was going to be around $580. They also said they did not know what the grinding was.IN SHORT, I dropped the truck off with two problems and left with two problems and 2000 dollars less. I do not recommend taking your vehicle here.Service: Steering & suspension repair

We called made an appointment to have front brakes fixed on a 2004 Ford Escape. Yes we said front brakes. They charged 130 bucks to drive it around parking lot only to say, you need brakes. They replaced everything with brand new parts, charged a core charge and we all know how that works. They keep the core charge when they returned the used parts. In the end they did all four wheels and charged over 1400.00. parts where not more than 300.00 plus they pulled the core charge game. Convently they found a broken vacuum line said to bring it back next day they would fix that. 90.00 for a black vacuum line? While paying that bill the girl burning Mike said oh you forgot to pay for the new calipers yesterday. Did I mention he had a GA tag in his car? Pretty sure that had a lot to do with this ripoff.

Very friendly, honest, and timely. They didn't replace parts that didn't need to be replaced. Had they done that, I would not have known .

I have AAA and when my car wouldn't start it was towed to Ridgecrest and they installed a new alternator and battery. Three weeks later my car was making a strange noise when the steering wheel was turned and the steering wheel vibrated. Again I called AAA and was towed to Ridgecrest. They put in a new pressure switch and pigtail. I got my car back the same day. ?great mechanics and such nice people. I would recommend Ridgecrest to anyone. Very happy all the way around.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Zeus and his staffing have been taking care of my cars for years. They are trustworthy, reliable, and knowledgeable. When an issue arises beyond their scope, they recommend and link us to service providers who seem to exhibit the same values.
