Steve (owner) has been one of the nicest person I've ever met. One of those that make you still hope there is still good and honest people in this world. He literally saved our trip back to Florida. We came to Waynesville on Thursday, asked a shop in Asheville to check the brakes on Saturday and they said they were good enough to go back home. We got ready to leave on Tuesday morning and 40mins after going down the hills the brakes started shaking... it was 8am, my husband stops at Superior Auto Services without noticing it was already open. I got off the van and Steve comes out and offers to help us immediately. My 65yr old mom, my 5yr old son and my dog were with us. He not only took care of the van, but also took us to downtown so we could have breakfast while he was working on the van and picked us up once it was ready.Job was done in a timely manner and we were able to get back on the road. Steve was our angel and I will always appreciate his service!Service: Brakes

Worse mechanic in Franklin. I had to take him to small claims court to get a refund for failure to repair truck. The truck motor came back to us in pieces and he still wanted additional money. Original quote for repairs was 1300.00. Stameys repaired it for less than half that. It took them a week. Steve had it for over six and didn’t even put it back together.Service: Electrical repair

I have owned my 2008 Honda since 2011. I've kept up with service, and needed a few maintenance items. Steve went over the entire car, advised some things, and did the work. I must say, my 14-year-old car has NEVER run as well as it does now. The engine is purring smooth as silk and it's peppy - like never before. It's amazing! This is a no frills, no BS shop, and pricing is more than fair. I found out Steve has been doing his mechanic thing his whole life. He had to have been born with a wrench in his hand, and HE'S THE BEST!Services: Transmission
