Nice spot to stop for drinks or snack. No gas. They had route stickers and shirts, wish they sold patches. Good selection of snacks from japanese peanuts to mexican ice pops.

Nice little place, friendly staff. No longer sells fuel due to old in-ground tanks.

Quaint little convenient store that sells Café Bustelo (even in party size, which is simply awesome). Very friendly girl working the counter who was helpful with giving directions. (I would have asked her to marry me, but I didn't want to scare her.)

BEST '17 SPRING BREAK EVER!!!
MARCH 2017. That first Saturday.
Tried to make a quick stop by Loafer's Glory (LG) on a Saturday on the way to Riddle, Oregon. EPIC ROAD TRIP!?! Huzzah I-40! West until you hit the I-5 North. Hit the HoJo's in Roseburg & you've over steeped your tease.
Place (LG) was closed but the mildly capable wheel man knew how to improvise with stand up BASSIC(sic) aplomb. The last Virginian issue knew how to keep it at 55 in the passing lane. Yup, that guy, the best I've ever been blessed with. Wow! Best R.E.M.arkable trip ever!
Loafer's Glory!
A treasure in dar' mountains full of nostalgic pleasures. Mr. Harold may have bought me an ice cold RC there and told me about the Miami Donkey run back in '72. Apparently, there were a Ton of disapproving Eagle eyes at that convening. On another, other day, I limped in there (LG) in need of a sip of gas and an ice scraper. Back in the old days, you could actually write a post dated check. I cannot remember her name though. The kind woman woman (yup, I wrote it twice) that took pity with empathy on me that frozen day may have been almost divorced. I wish that me & she had had that proffered cup of free coffee, indeed. But I was late for Calculus and could not tarry for a free cup of stale & burnt coffee. Poor me, turning down a free cup of coffee from what's her name so I could learn about curves, areas and apples falling on The Plagued head case G.O.A.T. Cannot remember her name, but her smile to a boy who needed a sip of gas, a scraped windshied & also accepted a postdated check struck me as sincere.
If not for the nostalgia, I would give it, LG, one (1) star. The place was closed. Even if open, there would not have been the high grade fuel to properly run a brand knew 5 Zeries. Zeriously. Are Appalachian Rubes trying to run this place? Or are they merely succeeding at their own chosen incompetence? I got a picture but would have preferred a T-Shirt (Large [LG]) from Loafer's Glory (LG). To be specific, a LG from LG. But y'all ducked us that day.
I am Nate from the Good Ol' Daze. Do not hesitate to call me.

No gas, but a good little shop for snacks and small groceries.
