Very cozy and clean two-room suite. My wife and I enjoyed our visit. It's like taking a step back in time with the decor and layout of the building.Nearby activities: Located on Fort Liberty, in the heart of Fayetteville, lots to do on the base and in the surrounding area.Safety: Located on a US military installation, controlled access to the base, very safe.

Convenient and discreet. Easy to book with short notice and helpful check in times. Earlier than traditional hotels. Staff practices good discretion and will not give out information about you or your stay to anyone who might call or ask in person. Great place to take a break in the afternoon and meet "colleagues" or what have you privatelyRooms: Not the best but the best for a quick break from work or a quiet getaway to reconnect or a special meeting. Also great for a break from reality

Amazing place to stay also very clean they have pots&pans all the utensils plates cups everything for the kitchen amazing they have one rule that you wash all your dishs before you leave also one room had two twin beds&tv very nice other one had a queen bed&tv the living room a TV was small but very quaint also outside of your main entrance they have a washer &dryer can't get any better than that ? of course their another room across the hall way which also is a another rental where the main entrance is where the washer&dryer are at so sometimes you will be sharing the washer&dryer ? I would definitely go back and recommend it to friends and family my cousin is a retired veteran so we enjoyed it plus you feel kind of a little extra safe because you're on the base Go Army also remember folks we're all human so sometimes whether it be like a light doesn't work or you find a little Cricket in there don't be so hasty take it with a grain of salt and if you can solve it by not calling the staff in the middle of the night then do it other than that and the biggest plus is that air conditioning it's something crazy I love it and they have fans in the rooms which makes it even easier take care God bless everybody GO ARMY ?

Incoming/ Outgoing SERVICE MEMBERS BEWARE! This place is unsanitary and filthy. The small apartments are infested with water bugs and spiders, and the rooms are not clean. House keepers do not do a good job cleaning the rooms. Facial and body hair were in the shower and sinks when I checked in. There was still dog hair in the room from previous customers. When I informed the front desk, I was given an attitude for reporting the issues. This place must be shut down until proper cleaning services can be provided to the rooms. Garrison Team please work to close this place down, and strip the IHG name from this place. Soldiers do not use your TLE on this place, take your family off base and go somewhere sanitary. I am extremely surprised on how this hotel is still operational. Again Fort Liberty close this place down, or demand the hotel management to hire employees that care with providing soldiers and retirees with quality and clean service. PCSing is stressful enough for soldiers and their families, they should not be given poor service.

My family and I stayed here one night and for the amount of money we paid the amenities were outdated and not worth the price. I am not sure if this is the standard but if it is it needs to change asap. Most military bases have at least one or two nice updated and modern hotels that family members can utilize while feeling safe and comfortable while visiting their families or if you just want a break. When we arrived to check in we drove to this location around 5pm nobody was at the front desk so we had to call the number listed only to be informed we had to drive to moon hall to check in and get our keys after a long day of driving this can be upsetting and tiring despite it being a 5/7 minute drive apart and this information not being listed anywhere in the email. The public should be aware of this information if IHG does not want to assign a employee at this site full time I could have just checked into moon hall and did all the transactions in one location. This location has no elevator so if you end on any floor beside the first floor good luck. My elderly parents were forced to walk up 12 flight of steep stairwells each time we wanted to leave the room because it was no availability on the second floor and during the entire stay I was nervous and assisted them while moving up and down the stairwell but thankfully we only stayed here one night. The breakfast was bare and located in a small area in the back of the hotel with limited options and left a lot to be desired again for the amount we paid we could have ate better at a local Waffle House or even ihop. The rooms were small and dated and while it looked clean it still did not give the updated and modern feel it should have for 140 dollars a night for a hotel on base. This location is really tucked away from alot of the basics so if you need to be close near a shopette or mini mall on base this is not the location for you. The next time my family and I visit we will stay in moon hall the closer proximity to basic amenities and a elevator really make a different when traveling to unfamiliar locations. This hotel should be your last option on post and not your first one because I never saw one hotel employee while staying here until we were about to check out before eating breakfast but even then she wasn’t clearly identified because she was wearing a hoodie over her head and on the phone having a personal conversation while also watching folks eat breakfast and then restocking items again this space is really small for it to host breakfast and this was a little weird and not good public relations if your visiting this site for the first time. Fort Liberty is known to be the flag ship of the army culture if they want to keep this distinction they need a nicer hotel on this post or at least a remolded hotel. Maybe they should consult with fort Gordon or fort Jackson because they have at least one nice ihg hotel on their bases that are fairly new and at least updated. My family and I won’t be back to this location but thank goodness we were only in town for less than 24 hours. Either the price point for these rooms need to stay below a certain price point or a massive renovation needs to take place so the price being charge is worth the price. It was also a little unsettling not to see any employees at this site what happens if you need assist with something? Or better yet you have some special accommodations again please be careful if you book here. This review is 100 percent accurate and my family and I did stay stay at this location while the response from the hotel below may suggest otherwise. My dad is a retired Army Veteran that was stationed at Bragg and I am currently still serving and spent plenty of time at this base growing up but this was our first time staying at this location. I don’t have to go above and beyond to reveal my identity just to review a location and let people be aware of what we encountered. As I said again when we return we will give moon hall a chance and look forward to better hospitality.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would. NO ELEVATOR 2 FLIGHTS OF 12 STAIRS EACH TO CLIMB. YOU CAN NOT control your own air setting in the room and our room had no trash bags in the cans, hair in the sink, and someone else’s plane ticket on the dresser. I should not have to tell them that my husband can’t walk stairs. Now I’m waiting for a new room at moon hall. Lyrica was great to try and make it right but I will never stay on base here again. Hotel was hard to find even using guide on.

A lot of people complaining about the decor....The building is indeed old and many decades ago it served as the bachelor officers quarters, so most rooms (suites) are a bedroom, sitting area w/ kitchenette. Yes, the furniture looks like it's out of an old B & W movie but it is serviceable & maintained. It is also a tad quiter hete than at Moon Hall. Our room was immaculate! My only recommendation is put some mats in the showers, or non-slip tape; i almost went down getting in the shower. The area is QUIET as the Normandy House is smack dab in the middle of Officer Country. No biggie though & no issues at all. It was nice to walk around in the mornings & evenings as there are plenty of placards to read. The Fayetteville area has grown and the new roads/by-passes, etc. have alleviated some congestion, so going on base from a town excursion is not bad at all. Plenty to see with all the museums, historic places & revitalization going on in downtown. I'm sure the place will get a face lift soon, but the history of it is kinda cool & makes the decor easier to swallow. Plus, im 90% sure a spirit or two dwell there...

The room was clean but completely outdated to include furniture, a/c unit (barely works), walls, ceiling, bath, the list can go on. The service at check in was good and again, they always keep their rooms in a high state of cleanliness. Please IHG Ft Bragg, make some up dates to these facilities, come on!

I was caught between graduation parties on both sides at home while it was my weekend to work. As a nightshift worker I needed to go to sleep at the time the parties started. I called a few days to get a room. Though Moon Hall was not available I was offered a room at Normandy. I was pleasantly surprised because it was across the street from where I worked less than half a mile! The check in/out process was easy and the amenities were enough for my short stay. The room was a nice size with a separate sitting area with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and desk. The value add was the bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. This is definitely the hidden gem of the post lodging.

We booked a two bedroom room with three beds in an old run down building for the seemingly high price of $140 plus about $20 in taxes and fees. We checked in, got the keys, and drove over to our room only to discover that they can put us in a much smaller room with only one bed. I called the front desk clerk who couldn’t have cared less (and who took nearly ten minutes to even check us in because she was on a personal phone call in the bathroom). She said we could check out and drive into town to find something else. It was almost 9pm and we had been driving for 13 hours so that was not an option. One member of our group got the bed, one a loveseat, and one had some blankets piled on upholstered dining chairs. Yeah. They did offer to reduce the rate from what we booked to what we got. I just received the email receipt and they didn’t even do that. I could understand the room we booked not being available but what I don’t understand is why didn’t they take a moment to call to let us know or even just mention it at check in if they absolutely couldn’t call? Had we known we could have stayed somewhere else, no big deal.
