Biggest concern is privacy for me. I came back to find my room had been entered even though I had the privacy tag on the door. I went to the desk to find out why. There is a policy in place that allows staff to enter your room regardless of the privacy tag on the door. Now that I know, I will have to wonder if I locked up everything INSIDE my room every time I walk out the door. Also the inside of the room is fairly clean but on the outside, there are stains everywhere, laundry rooms dirty, etc. They can’t fix the age of the building but they can make sure it reflects the same price as a hotel of equal quality. Instead they get to charge the government rate so there’s no incentive for them to lower it.Make sure you’re able to walk to the room, you will likely have to park a block away in the shoppette parking lot.

Rooms are very dated and tight with the King size bed, but they are clean and comfortable!Excellent location, allowing you to walk to school. Parking IS HORRIBLE. Think less than 50 spaces for 260 rooms so it's a coin toss whether you'll park here or half a mile away in the shopppette parking lot down the street.Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is meh but at least you have it if you don't have enough time to run to DFAC. Not complaining, just facts.

This place is a joke for service. When you consider bare minimum for travel, the expectation is fresh sheets and towels. The room service here is once a week. I came back to my room to find my used towels placed back on the rack and sheets not changed or even an attempt to make the bed. I haven't checked to see if anything was stolen (yet), but I wouldn't be surprised.

The rooms are small and it is an old building, and the washers and dryers are very dirty and filthy on each of the floors and some of them don’t work.

I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and of sufficient size. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful at check-in.It feels new, even though the outside of the building is 50 or 60 years old

Checked into a suite last Sunday. The hotel and room are dated, but the suite was clean and functional. Staff very friendly and helpful. Standard IHG breakfast (except no sausage gravy). Very convenient if working on post.

This place is completely filthy. The carpets are almost black from concentrated dirt stains that have never been cleaned. The water that came out of the bathroom sink was brown when I went to brush my teeth. I had to go to Walmart and purchase bed spreads to lay over the bed so could feel safe enough to sleep. I put one spread completely over the bed and then another one to cover myself. The tub was clean but the shower head was gross ?. All of the furniture is caked with dirt buildup and is very OLD; cushions don’t lay correctly on the couch because of the wear and tear of time. The staff were ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL when I asked about things to do and how to get there. It breaks my heart to see that our servicemen and women have such filthy accommodations and that this is the norm. I hope they will get the plumbing fixed so brown water isn’t all we can brush our teeth with. The carpet and furniture is just filthy. I was shocked at the conditions.Nearby activities: There are several churches that you can go to. The food mall did not look appealing so I didn’t enter. I was just shocked at how desolate and rundown everything looked. I just didn’t expect this from a government agency.

Front Desk lady at Moon Hall is rude.. Worst customer service ever! They charged our card multiple times so we had to call them. They told us their system is down and can’t do anything so to call back later in the afternoon. We called again that afternoon and the same lady said their system will be down for a couple of days. Didn’t even say sorry for the inconvenience or anything but sounded bothered that we even asked. Called again today and she was MAD! The system was working the next day but she was mad that she had to explain to us what the charges on our card was for. IHG, you need to hire better employees! Just the stress of a PCS move itself is hard on us families. We do not need to be treated this way!

If you’re not from the Carolina nor have experience, you will probably run into a palmetto bug or “water bugs” in your room. They strongly resemble cockroaches. Also, it’s not that it’s a dirty hotel, but those SOBs [the palmetto bug] are magicians, they’re re everywhere and get into everything. So don’t be

Convenient location is the redeeming factor. The building is pretty dated. The rooms do look like they are cleaned regularly, but never deep cleaned. So the floor and shower were clean but in some places you could see sawdust from the last repair job. Overall I had an okay experience, but keep your expectations low.

Well, it ain't pretty, that's for sure. Drove up to the hotel and the entrance was blocked off by huge orange construction fences, though no construction was evident. When I checked-in and the front desk staff were professional but definitely not friendly or welcoming. They also seemed to be clueless about the details of my reservation which shows a lack of communication between shifts or poor note-taking by the reservations team. The front desk staff asked me if I wanted to become a member of IHG and I said no thank you. He seemed disappointed. It was late when I checked in and we'd been driving for hours with an infant. Therefore, I asked for a late checkout. The clerk told me that only IHG members were eligible for the late checkout, so I said OK, I'll become a member then. He then quickly switched up and said you can't do a late checkout even if you are a member. Huh? It was as if he was trying to penalize me because I declined membership. After checking in, my family and I proceeded to our room. The room has a king sized bed, but it is VERY basic. Basic is fine, but the price does not reflect basic. The price is comparable to a hotel which would provide nicer accommodations and better amenities. This is more akin to a motel and the price should reflect that. On top of that, the bathroom was less than clean. There was visible hair in the shower and on the towels - ew. The toilet definitely was not clean either and I refused to sit on the stool. Even if a room is basic, the one thing that needs to be clean is the bathroom. This one was not. IHG needs to update this facility - but really a complete overall would be warranted. IHG and hotel managers please do better for your service men and women!!One positive - the hot breakfast was decent and they had non-pork options for breakfast meat. The fresh baked cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. The breakfast attendants were friendly and attentive.

If you want dimly lit rooms (not intentional), half working cable television, rude and incompetent staff members with horrible customer service skills then this is the place for you! The “hotel” is outdated for sure but worst of all it is mismanaged by staff who do not care about their customers. If you’re military and your daily lodging rate is $96.00 do not stay here. Was repeatedly told taxes would fall off after 90 days which would bring my total to $96, after checkout was informed that I needed to stay 92 days for tax exemption. Management explained it was in fact an error on their behalf but one that I’d have to pay for. Absolutely horrible experience. Fort Bragg, do better for your service men and women.

I will have been here for 6 weeks. This place is managed ok, it basically has multiple layers of repairs done to the facility. The only redeeming factor is its on base so it's close to where you need to go, but it's also on base.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I am TDY to Ft. Bragg, as an E7, and they put me in this hotel that is a dump! The carpet has stains on every square foot, the room is dingy, the bathroom is dirty and unkept, the windows won't open (to get rid of some of the terrible smell of the room), the front desk staff is careless and rude, and the breakfast is nonexistent! I was told when confirming the location that the first 3 floors are the only ones to have been remodeled, and because I am staying for 4 weeks, they don't want me occupying one of these rooms. They are charging the Army almost $100/night and the "breakfast" offered is coffee and juice; no food AT ALL. I was also told to park at my own risk, as my car may be towed "depending on the MP's mood." Do not stay here, this place is worse than section 8!Rooms: Terribly dirty and outdatedSafety: Your car "may get towed depending on the MP's mood"Food & drinks: There is no breakfast offered here even though it is advertised.Noteworthy details: DO NOT STAY HERE- if you have any choice at all, go somewhere else. Another ihg close by offered to match the rate, and they have secure parking, breakfast (with food), clean rooms that are updated, and friendly staff.

Stopped here on my way to Fort Gordon, GA. Great service and location. Rooms and building are a bit dated. Overall I would recommend.
