Mavis Tire and Brakes formerly NTB did me a wonderful service today. I could not find a tire anywhere to fit my 2014 Chevrolet Spark and when I had stopped to have my oil changed I was told the rear driver tire had a bubble on it and wires showing. The previous tire I had purchased was the wrong size and had worn wrong. I called Mavis at 5: 15 pm and was told they had the tire I needed. They closed at 6pm. I was in Shelby, NC. The lady told me if I could get there in next 15 minutes or so they could get it put on for me. I arrived and the gentleman at counter knew the tire I was there for. They got my car took back and new tire put on before closing time. I am so thankful for the excellent service I received and the kindness I received today. They will be receiving all of my future business. My car does not come with a spare tire, only an air compressor as it is a compact. Thanks so much y'all!!!

Scratched up my brand new wheels, also job took way longer than what I was told. The car also rode way more rough after I got it back.

I was about 1.5hrs from home and had a flat roughly at 12pm. I called for roadside assistance and sure enough what was a 1 hour ETA turned into 3 hours. Most of the car/tire shops in the area closes at 5pm except for NTB (closes at 6pm) so I knew I had to get my spare on and get to the closest shop if I had any chance of making it back home. I arrived at NTB at roughly 4pm. I spoke with Tim and initially he said he couldn't fit in any more walk-ins. However, after letting him know that I was from out of town he confidently said, "It may be past stores hours by then but I'll get it done." To my surprise he was able to get me out the door by 5:30.
Tim and the other tech there were diligent and honest. I highly recommend coming here especially on Tim's watch. THANKS AGAIN!

Mason was a huge help!
Bought a used boat and wanted to replace the tires and wheels before the 1K mile trip back home. Called NTB to see if they could get us in right away and they were ready for us when we arrived 4 minutes later and got us taken care of on the fly. Mason, thank you for not only doing the physical labor but also for your exemplary customer service, Young Man!
