I rented a machine for Friday afternoon and to be picked up Monday. I used it about 4 hours Friday afternoon and it started running like crap, so I parked the machine and called them Saturday about having someone come out and fix it. Well, they said that it would be Monday before anyone could come look at it. They picked it up Monday, and a guy called me and said the mechanic said “someone had been messing with the carburetor”. Just rented a roto snake from there - took it home with the only head they provided - it was the wrong head for what I needed. Took it back this morning and they charged me full price for the rental. I had $200 worth of outdoor patio heaters on reservation for next week - I hope it was worth losing $200 and a customer for life to make $40 on a rental missing pieces.

I would give less than 0 ⭐️ if possible. Completely unprofessional. They think texting & driving isn’t illegal(the wife texted -WHILE DRIVING- to start this). The wife thinks it’s acceptable to drive in the passing lane, encroach in the other lane & purposefully try to hit another vehicle. They have NO one there that understands FMCSA safety & compliance. They then proceed to HARASS the person reporting their unsafe driver(the wife)! Repeatedly CALL & TEXT! “You’re riding around in a period” So very professional. I wouldn’t trust them to haul a ROCK! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR FREIGHT OR LIVESTOCK!

Let me tell you why I'm now a customer for life! I drove up from South Carolina because the team at Hardin was so helpful on the phone and their prices were amazing. I got 5 miles away from their store and my truck had transmission problems. Chuck helped me get my truck to a transmission shop, took care of my trailer, and offered to drive us and our new mower to our home in SC!! We got a rental car home but they were more than ready to help us out.

Rented “white†chairs for my sons wedding. The chairs were extremely dirty. I tried scrubbing clean, but no luck. They needed to be pressure washed. I did not have time to go rent from somewhere else or I would have. Talked to Chuck and he was very rude. He finally agreed to refund me half of the cost. I was told by the owner of the wedding venue that this wasn't the first time a customer complained about the “white†chairs from Hardin's Rentals. If you advertise white chairs, they need to be clean white.

I rented a skid steer from this place, and was double charged for it. Apparently the paperwork got mixed up and they didn't know I already paid for it, so the following day they charged it again. Was told that the money is a “hold†and they don't physically receive the money.. which is true to some extent, while they could have just approved the charge on it and gave me cash ($350) back and we could call it even, I'm now having to wait until my bank can figure this out and ap

I was quoted 720+80 delivery by one fo the employees for a track skid steer to then find out when the charge went through I was charged over $950-and of course none of the employees will own up to quoting the wrong price which is suppose to be $825 and they won't honor the price that was quoted to me! It also rained the entire week so it could barely be used and they weren't willing to offer any discount on it at all. Very appalled with the service I received. *Edit-I was also told I would be getting a call from the owner for this discrepancy and a week later still have not received a call after I called 3 times to speak to them.
