Rye moving is wonderful. They moved our two households from Asheville to Maine in perfect order. As well, they were absolutely delightful to work with. Even at the end of a long day loading up two trucks when it was approaching 9pm, Logan and his thoughtful team were still cheerful, kind, and careful with every item. Amazing.

Logan has to be one of the most professional movers in the Asheville area if not the whole Southeastern United States. Not only was the communication top tier but the genuine care he and his employees took when handling valuable furniture is unmatched. If you have heirlooms or furniture you actually care about this is the company to call. This guy must’ve played Tetris too much as a kid because after my storage company ‘didn’t receive my reservation’ he was able to fit everything from my 26’ box truck into a 10x15 instead of a 10x20. Seriously impressive stuff.
I’ve had bad luck with movers in the South and pined for the days when I could just call up a couple friends and pack it all myself. Logan and company are true masters of the moving craft and take pride in doing the job quickly and correctly which is more than you can say about most. Would highly recommend.

Great company and caring owner. I used them twice since I had to store my furniture initially prior to my new place being available. They were prompt and efficient. I had a small problem that I addressed with the owner, Logan, and he resolved it immediately and to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Rye Moving!

I must preface this by saying Logan was a genuinely nice person over the phone, and our interactions were pleasant. I had called and priced out several moving companies in town to take on the job of my move near the end of June.
After pricing everyone out, Rye Moving was indeed the best value of all local companies which is the reason I wanted to work with them. I called in and scheduled my move 5 weeks in advance, was told everything was set and we were booked.
The day before moving day I assumed I would receive a confirmation call, Which never arrived so I called in and hit voicemail.
The next morning I called as well just to confirm the movers would show, however an hour later I received a call from Logan and was informed I was not on the schedule for the day.
Not only was I not on the schedule for the day, There were no notes no account and no records of my phone call.
Over the phone it sounded like I was being made out as mistaken for having booked with Rye Specifically but that is not the case, and I was offered $100 compensation. While generous, Does not detract from the fact If someone says they will be there to do work you expect them to show. Luckily I was able to secure a backup plan last minute, which cost Hundreds more.
Tl;DR I'm sure Rye moving and packing is great, and Logan does seem like a genuinely nice guy. If only they had showed when I needed them most.

Have used Rye Moving for both local & out-of-state moves and recommend them highly. Cody & James did an outstanding job with the most recent move. Best if you walk Logan through your job & be specific. He will make solid helpful suggestions. Their pricing is competitive and fair.

We've used Rye Moving and Packing for our business for several years now to help get our event supplies from storage to the event space and back. Logan's team is professional and personable. Logan is a super nice fella! And his workers are so very polite and courteous, not to mention strong! We have a few family heirlooms that these guys took excellent care of throughout the moving process. I was happy to have everything set up just right and in perfect condition. Even though moving is stressful, Rye Movers made it a great experience. I highly recommend Rye!

As a small business owner, we’ve used Rye Moving and Packing twice a year for nearly 4 years. Their kindness, efficiency, and professionalism are one of a kind in the moving business!
We so enjoyed getting to know their team over the years and were always thrilled with the lack of turnover with their employees. It made our moving easier as they learned us and how best to care for our items.
Speaking to their efficiency, I’ve loaded my fair share of moving trucks. What used to take 3-4 hours on my own with 4-5 friends was put to shame by Logan and his team. It took 2-3 guys only 2 hours to load the truck. Professional and quick!
We will always stick with Rye Moving and Packing!
