New customer here, and I see why the Fletcher branch has 2 stars? on reviews.We arrived 4 min. before 7 pm when they close but the elderly man was very rude about us coming close to 7 to pick up prescriptions. Perhaps they need to hire someone who is faster pace so that customers will be served in a timelymanner without all the lip service. Heasked for the DOB 3 different times, which caused more of a delay.? After all of the conversation, we find out our old pharmacy hasn't faxed over the prescriptions, so it was a lose lose situation. A text update would have been nice, so we wouldn't have rushed there in the firsts place.

Wish I read the reviews before choosing this pharmacy! There is always a line, last time I visited this cvs pharmacy I had to stand in line for 30 minutes and calling them is no better. After a month of trying to get my medication from them I switched to a different cvs and got it the same day. I do not recommend this CVS pharmacy

When ordering refills without RX number I press option 7 to speak with the pharmacist.I called them at end of December to refill a prescription I was on hold for over an hour and no one answered the phone.So I went into CVS and ordered the refill and I told them that I had called and was on the phone for over an hour and their response was “sorry we are too busy to answer the phone”.If they can’t answer the phone they should hire an employee and only let them answer the phone when someone calls.The pharmacist that was working that day was also rude when I was making the complaint. Instead of handling the complaint he just said that they can’t answer the phone and work at the same time and I am like if you guys hire a few people to only answer the phone calls yes you could do both.For the past year they have been very rude to me and my mom and we are no longer going to be having services with them.I work at Ingles on Airport Rd Arden NC so I am in the process of switching to Ingles instead of CVS.Poor service everyone avoid CVS for pharmacy services

Slowest service. Every time I have to pick up my prescription, there is always long wait. Sometimes more than 30 mins. When the doctor sends in RX, you’ll never get it on the same day! This store needs more help and the pharmacy workers are always short staffed.

Zero stars….The pharmacy is very difficult to get hold of on the phone. It takes over 10 minutes just to get to the part of calling the department to get a pharmacist. It continues to ring and no one ever picks up (after waiting for over 30 min!) And when I go to refill on the app, it takes forever to fill or they cancel it and not let me know why or notify me it was canceled! Or refill and it takes a week when it should not take that long. I went back onto the app and saw it was canceled. Negative stars!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The fact that I’ve seen in person, every employee ignore the phone and multiple customers standing in line. But also to be on hold currently for 16 MINUTES. If you can take the energy to ignore your phones and customers for 16 minutes, you can use the same energy to answer a question that takes 2 seconds. Extremely poor work ethic and customer service. And this is definitely the last time I’ll be using them to fill any prescription. Do yourself a favor and use somewhere else. These people have no care or drive for the business they’re working for.Edited to add I stayed on hold for over 30 minutes. My brother made it to CVS and waited in line and back to my job before I even hung up. Decided to call my doctor and have them transfer it to Walmart.

This CVS took NINE DAYS to fill a prescription that has taken me a few hours or less at other local CVS's, like the one a few miles north on Hendersonville Road or the one in North AVL (both of those are very good pharmacy-wise). I wanted to have enough medicine before leaving for vacation but had to make do with a sparse supply. I'm sure glad it wasn't for something urgent or life threatening.On the other hand, checkout employees are friendly and always say hello, even though I use the self-checkout.I don't want to totally ream this store on a single pharmacy experience, but that's pretty bad; and the other low reviews tell a similar story. OK for retail purchases but I'd avoid pharmacy at all costs.

CVS has really gone downhill since Covid. The pharmacy is always days late filling prescriptions and no one ever answers the phone. Making matters even worse, the same company (Aetna) is also my health insurance and they force me to only get 30 days of medicine at a time and I am often end up buying other things from this terrible company since I need to go to their store so often. I saw news headlines this morning that they are making record profits and employees are striking, time to invest in your pharmacy employees! After sitting on hold for 15 minutes I started browsing Aetna's list of other "in network" pharmacies and got a 'Search Failed' error from their website, wonder why fixing that isn't a priority..

Worst pharmacy experience ever.Their hours are extremely limited (10-7) and they close for lunch (1:30- 2)I’ve sent 2 family members here 3 times to pick up my Rx because of my medical issue and they both waited in line so long they had to leave. Currently there are 7 cars in the drive through line and I also came on my lunch break earlier today and that’s when I found out it wasn’t filled yet, and it was called in TWO DAY ago!CVS has lost me as a consumer because of this location specifically!

Every cvs I've had my meds filled at had done so in a very timely manner. This cvs gave me a really long estimate on when they could have it filled. I needed my medicine but I waited the length of time they had told me it would take but to my surprise ny medication took almost another hour to fill. I had to go on my lunch to pick up my meds so this made me look back to my employer. Really displeased right now.

I can't speak on the pharmacy, but I'm pretty sure the older lady working in the front has some biases. I was purchasing allergy medication and intended on using the self-checkout. The lady noticed me and asked if I needed help. I told her I'd just use the self-checkout but she insisted on ringing me up because she thought I'd need ID for the Claritin. The Claritin that requires an ID is *only* sold in the pharmacy. She didn't need to "help" me. I think she just assumed I was stealing.

The Doctor sent a prescription an hour before closing but I was turned away because they said they were too backed up with work and to come back the next day.
