“This place is every book lovers dream!!You have to see it to believe it.It is kind of hard to find as it's tucked away behind Subway, but it is well worth searching for. There is a huge selection of a wide variety of books, cds and dvds. The prices are more than reasonable, and every purchase goes towards helping the organizations the store works with. Not only did I walk away with many books, but what I paid went to helping others.A Win-Win for everyone!!”

“This is a great Goodwill. Clean store, extensive selection of clothes, and large dressing rooms. Every super-friendly staff person was active: cleaning, stocking, or checking out customers. We'll definitely be back.”

“It was so cool to see charlotte in person! I had no idea this was the famous stingray until we walked in and they said “so I’m sure you’ve been following us”… I actually freaked out.It was a great experience, checking out the bearded dragons, seeing the tortoises, and the aquatic show. Definitely worth a visit!”

“I am a women staying at the villiage wanting to speak out on our behalf. I am grateful there is a place where women can come and gather there self for them selfs and there childern. Its the staff and the so called leadership there that concerns me. There was a time where i was written up for not sighing in out even though i was . Ut may not seem like a big deal but i almost got kicked out over it. Amoung other things i will not mention. Over all ABCCM means well. But at the TRV we are told over and over what they do fir us as if we do not aprciate it. There is a power trip with the ataff against the residents. I was made to feel bad about working late even though there are plenty of mothers with kids who do. After having my daughter while living there i worked two jobs the last sevarl months and didnt always keep my room perfect and was giving a hard time about. Though it was hard for everyone to pass inspections. Cathy always reminded us how spotless her house was . I wish the staff was more informed on trauma response so they could understand us better. And would know how to deal with sittuations. Because most of us there have had a lot of Trauma.”

“So glad this place exists! Malcolm and Steven were super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with my new (used/rebuilt) bike and happy I was able to donate my old bike to the shop to further their cause of helping get kids out mountain biking who otherwise wouldn't be able to. Lots of bike parts available for cheap, like seats, clothing, accessories, etc. I will always check here first for any bike needs!”

“Am a Goodwill Shopper and this store has the best selection in our area. I'm not sure how I missed this store all this time. Will come back again.

P.S. the young guys at the counter were so humorous and made me laugh so hard. Thank you.”

“Best HFH store in Hendersonville NC & upstate SC. Great prices. Friendly people. I refurbished a cabin (with gently used and new items that still had the price tag on them) from the furniture side of this place (on right, when facing the 2 buildings) and from the left building supplies side, which are next to each other on Washington St. (A small side street runs between the 2 stores). Check out both stores. (The furniture store has an upstairs and an elevator, so be sure and go up there too!) You name it, I have bought it there. You never know what you're going to find, day by day. Locals donate wonderful items to this store. Thank you donors!”
