Incredible volunteers, doing amazing work, with animals you can tell are well loved!I just adopted from them about 10 days ago. From a litter of 9, each survived, and based on how Boone is, I can tell he was well loved and treated by his temperament and social skills.I'm looking forward to working with Charlie's Angels more, such an amazing organization! I appreciated the thoughtfulness and thoroughness to ensure Boone found the best home for him.Sure made me and my other dog feel special!

These folks are amazingly dedicated! Fostered and then adopted a feral dog from them a couple of years ago. They set me up in every way imaginable for success. Two years later she is a happy member of the family. Thank you Charlie’s Angels!!!

Unpleasant telephone experience with a sarcastic volunteer who had an "Holy-er than Thou" attitude. After being told that I would not be eligible to adopt from their business, especially considering that I don't live within a four hour driving distance. (Originally from Mars Hill, NC, visiting family in Etowah, NC, currently living in Vermont.)I lamented that in this instance their policies would be denying a dog a good and loving home, and ended the call. Five minutes later, the same, self anointed "Director of Phone Etiquette"volunteer called back to chastise me, and my attitude. She ACTUALLY called back to put me in my place. (Hence the 1 star rating.) After a heated exchange, she told me to "Go back to the 'North' where you came from!" and ended the call.I think if I were an actual 'Northerner' I might have been offended by that statement. Keep this in mind my Northern neighbors who have moved to the area. Your 'Northern Dollars' might not be wanted if making donations. I feel sorry for this frustrated woman and anyone who has to encounter her.Guess I should be blocking the phone number, I suspect she might also be the self anointed 'Responder in Chief" to 'less than positive, reviews. Apologies only accepted by paper mail.

I was shocked at the prices. Though I commend their mission, these are anything but thrift store prices. They price as if it's a boutique. If you are an avid thrifter you may want to check other thrifts first. The prices here are HIGH.

I had $160 worth of dog food to donate to them. They said they were too busy to come pick it up even though I live about 8 miles away.

I have been volunteering for Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue for several years and I still cannot express enough about the excitement and feelings I get when one of our dogs or cats go to their forever homes. I have seen first hand the care and love the staff have for the rescue animals. When I'm on an outing with one of our dogs - I have people all the time ask me "How can you take that dog back to the rescue?" And my answer is always the same ------------------ "I've never gotten one of our dogs out, that when I return back to the rescue with the dog.....he/she pulls me up the ramp to go back inside." Our animals know that our rescue is a safe place and the mere fact that our dogs pull us up the ramp to go back in, speaks volumes as to how they are treated when they are in our care. I have adopted several of my dogs from Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue and I highly recommend them.

I shopped at their thrift store today and was very impressed. The staff was super helpful, the store was very clean, and I felt the prices were pretty reasonable. I found several cool treasures. I am grateful that my community has so many people that care about animals. Thanks for all you do!!!

Clean building, wonderful staff! Each member does there best to work hand in hand with every animals needs. From teaching dogs off, to sit, to working with semi feral animals! The staff and volunteers definitely gives each and every animal lots of love and joy!

It's a good thing you do BUT...couldn't get a meet and greet set up last minute and drove over 30 miles ! With a child on life support to purchase a puppy we saw online and was turned away because we didn't have an appointment! You want to rescue and adopt animals out then show some mercy!

The Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue staff is so very friendly and caring, I have no doubts that the animals at CAAR are in the best care. On top of caring for the animals, the staff keeps the shelter itself very clean. I highly recommend keeping this rescue at the top of your list when searching for your next rescue buddy!

These guys are awesome! I just adopted a puppy from them last week and it is very clear to me that they care so much more about the animals than many other shelters - it's more about quality care and finding good homes than a high turnover rate. Everyone that I met who works for this rescue was super friendly and overall wonderful. Thank you so much!!!

I adopted my cat from CA and I also volunteer there and I can tell you everyone who works and volunteers there puts the animals care and well being first and foremost. This is a small shelter with limited funds and resources. there are only 4 paid employees - everyone else is a volunteer including the manager and director and their dedication to the animals is amazing. We do the best we can with what we have and the vast majority of people who adopt thru us are very happy - our extremely low return rate shows that.

We adopted our sweet doggo from Charlie's Angels and it was a fantastic experience. They truly care about who is adopting the animals and are diligent about vetting potential owners. We felt 1000% comfortable with the process and would recommend them to anyone looking to rescue an animal.
