I’ve had my car for barely 3 months and it’s been nothing but a problem I had it in the shop the Wednesday before thanksgiving and got it back on the following Friday and was told nothing was wrong with my car and it’s now Sunday and my car is doing the exact same thing I told them it was doing. It won’t drive when put into gear. I don’t recommend getting a car from this place or having them do work on your vehicle

Eddie and Wayne are amazing got me in and out in about an hour. Payments are awesome and so was the car thank you for the great customer service and diligence service .

Bought a car from them, within 2 months the engine blew. Ask if they could work out something and was told I had to give them 500 dollars and and put down another down payment. So be careful buying from them.

this place is a joke, had to put my car in the shop 2 days after having it to do brakes. they then have no record of the service and have canceled multiple appointments on me. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

My husband Ray Lowe and I have had our car for 3 years now. And during that 3 years we have NEVER had a late payment. So we needed to make a late payment due to us coming down with COVID and they say that the payment can only be a week late. 3 years of PERFECT payment history and this is how they treat us. On top of that, we were supposed to be done paying off our car after 3 years and I just looked at the email that I get after every payment and apparently we still owe another $4000! they DO NOT work with their customers and they apparently jack up the price to ATLEAST 3 x the value. oh, and they DO NOT help with repairs. We were gonna trade in this vehicle but now we just want to be done with them. And apparently we are not the only customers dealing with this. Way to take advantage of your loyal customers Benchmark! I WILL NOT recommend this place to even my in-laws

Overpriced garbage. By the end your paying overpriced amount. Actually 3 times it's value most vehicles. They take advantage of people who aren't knowledgeable. Also they are known to cut the cars power if anything is wrong on your end. Making the vehicle immovable. Yikkkeesss not for me at all...

Office staff is very nice and helpful. I know they are providing a service. Helping people down on their luck (thanks covid) or have never bought anything before. And they have a good niche type business. The reason for the 3 stars, the salesman and their "mechanics". I use the term mechanic loosely. Salesman was a nice guy. But a couple of times told me that "he hopes that car is there when I come back tomorrow". It had been there since December...I think I was alright. First car I drove, I turned around about 200 feet from the lot. The front end was shaking so bad that I was worried I wouldn't make it back. But supposedly...the "mechanics" test and check each vehicle before it's put on the lot. The next car I drove is the one we eventually got. The tire pressure light was on. Again, the "mechanics" check each and every car! I asked that it be fixed before we came back to sign the paperwork. It wasn't. I ended up having to take out the spare and fix it myself. Just seems that helping the customer and doing what you say, doesn't always happen.

My daughter passed unexpectedly, very young, with no will. I didn't have court papers yet but talked to Benchmark about it and continued to make payments as our verbal agreement was that we would take over the car once the estate was settled. Had to put our own insurance on it. Enter the new employee, Mackenzie..... She lied that they had been calling us. They hadn't until the afternoon they said they were going to repo it due to lack of insurance. We sent them our insurance info as they requested, but the employee gave us the wrong email address. Finally got in touch with her again and got the correct email. Then said it wasn't good enough because the insurance needed to be in my deceased daughter's name (which you can't do). Mackenzie then argued with my wife over how quickly the estate should've been settled, as according to her it should've only been a week or two. My wife told Mackenzie our lawyer was working on getting the court papers and she said she would give us another day to get in contact with our attorney (another lie). She promptly sent the tow truck out for repo. Payments up to date AND insurance on the car. Wasn't even being driven. So thank you to Benchmark for making the worst time in our lives even worse.

Just thought I'd update my review since it's been awhile...and still the best place to go!! They've done me so so good. Recently had to take it back to the service center (best guys there, Jackie has always taken care of me!) and they only charges me a hundred bucks again, put the rest on my warranty. It was needing two axel joints, and now my baby is running beautifully again.

Don't go here, dont get a car from here. after only A month of having my car it had to be put in their service center for 2 days Then here I am 3 months later I've only have had my vehicle for 3 months and had to take it to Hyundai of Asheville to be fixed cost of everything that needs fixing $1,250 Already had to replace a drive belt as well. I do not recommend their service my car has been nothing but frustrating and I'm 6 months pregnant so purchasing my car which is a 2012.... And it's gonna cost me $17,000-$18,000 after it's paid off... I paid $2,000 for the Down payment. I've been highly inconvenienced. Just don't do it.

They helped me with my odyssey they came to my house towed him to the shop changed my alternator quickly and got him back to me so I didn’t miss work. They are friendly helpful and knowledgeable.Thank you y’all some much you don’t know how much you are appreciated.Selena Reece Rector
