I use the services of most USPS locations throughout Henderson County, depending on my situation and in which direction I'm headed for the day. My preferred location is Flat Rock as the staff there are the most efficient, professional and friendly. Thumbs up to all staff and management at this location.

The Flat Rock post office location has, by far, the most efficient, professional, helpful, and courteous staff of any PO location in Henderson County NC. My wife and I use this PO multiple times per week and are always pleased with the top quality service we receive. When we leave packages there with tracking, we always know that they will move expeditiously. This is simply not the case with other POs in this area.

Went to mail several padded envelopes of which I do all the time. Instead of the counter person weighing the packages to send them standard mail with a tracking number, he only looks at a piece of paper and quotes over $70. I had eight envelopes with none weighing over 1 pound. Even when requesting to weigh and scan even one of them in, the man said I am sorry, there is nothing more that I can do as this is the fee we charge. I have never had this problem but I do know I will no longer use this location for anything else as he made me feel like my request to mail at that location was an inconvenience upon his time.
