so I was desperate to find a place and desperate enough I found one I was in condo 220 where cutouts were horrible couldn’t have access to certain drawers and dishwasher was not properly installed when you ran ac it leaked from ceiling causing several bulbs to blow in lamp over kitchen table paint on walls were just a quick mcguyver to put on market listed price was around 950 ended up paying 1750 which was dropped to 1650 never received full deposit when left horrible smell of cigarettes reaked through walls and below from tenants smoking in units .. smell of marijuana would be running through vents and other apartments and ended up fermenting in the unit I was renting even when you bring up issues they never get taken care of only thing good was the fountain pond running at night to sleep you share a laundry mat with two washers and two dryers with the whole property which half the time the appliances would be broke or people would leave clothes in dryer and washer for hours when your desperate you’ll find what desperate truly means do research you’ll find cheaper places and better quality

Prices have gone up significantly. It's a cute place but not at the new price range. It has internet that kinda works and dated rooms. We loved our stay bc of how close it was to the bakery and hiking but there was not anything special enough about the hotel to make it worth $300 a night.

let me add that this refund WAS NOT PROCESSED until I called today, I was lied to despite getting a cancellation confirm email. this place is a complete scam. continues to send me to voicemail, refused a manager. will be filing a chargeback with my cc and a formal complaint with BBB. will make sure no one I know ever stays there- Kristen you are disgusting

We were not told there could be contactless check in or the office is not open on weekends. We got there late Friday and didn't have a key so had to pay for a other hotel. We called Saturday and someone answered and said the key was in the mailbox... would have been nice to know that prior to Friday.The grounds and room were nice. Just poor communication.

The pictures don't match what the description is! All units are older. Overall, it was an okay stay. But I won't be visiting again. Just know that the updated areas aren't true to picture.

This is what people mean when they say a place is a gem. The little lake, the waterfall, small sandy beach with canoe... Walk to town for movies and the bakery. Heaven. So glad we decided to come check this place out. So much better than some random hotel. This place is something special. Unique. Will be back.

I really wish I could have given more stars, but the room was just so disappointing and caused an early end to our trip. No central AC, the beds were springy, the window AC unit wasn’t properly installed in the window, rooms have a slight smell. We ended up leaving a day early because we both slept so terribly. Breakfast was advertised upon check in but not provided when I went to get it, which made for a rough morning since I’m pregnant and my husband had taken the cad for a hike thinking I would have food to eat. The only reason it’s not less stars is because the setting is absolutely adorable. We loved the lake/pond, the pool, and the atmosphere. Very close to downtown. But the rooms were just awful. We won’t be back unless there is an update, which I hate to say because there is so much potential. I hope things changes so we can return but I’m not sure I would even be willing to risk it after how this stay went.

Don't bother. It's quiet its had some updates. Pictures are very deceiving its really a pond not a lake. There are no working paddle boards only one and it is missing paddles. Canoes do not all have oars. The lady was very short answered and just stopped talking altogether to us when we ask about it. All the way down to we had to cover up our window with towels so people couldn't seen in. The blinds that had installed were new but it was not for this kind of window and it was permanently fixed not to raise or lower because of the window air conditioner. Absolutely not worth the bother. Its really a shame could be such a nice place. I have visit all kinds. I won't come back here. You can go somewhere else much nicer for these prices . Overpriced for a much older, dated lodge. It has potential but furnishings are mixed matched. I would atleast put some money into giving it a farm fresh feel and paint all the mixed matched furniture farm house white. Maybe a remodel is in the works?? The area is quiet and safe and the town and surrounding area has charm.
