I always read reviews before going to places..This bank has a lot of bad reviews. I visited the drive thru and Torrey was very friendly and helpful . Thank you!

On 12/20/2022 I was at this branch at 12pm to do a wire transfer for the closing of my house, walked in with my realtor met a black girl she’s the teller at the counter. I let her know i want to do wire transfer she told me that she needs one more person that will authorize it. She ask one of the teller a white young lady if she can help authorize the transaction she replied to her that she’s going to lunch and can’t do it, the teller told me there’s nothing she can do but that I can logged into my online bank app and do the transfer but she never told me that it will not go thru.I end up doing the wire transfer thru the app at 12:24pm which unfortunately the recipient never received the money, by 4pm my attorney was still letting me know thru my realtor that they’ve not received the closing money for the house, I called the 1800 number on the receipt of the transaction they told me it usually can take up to 3 days to receive the money or the morning of the following day.Came on 12/21/2022 the recipient still have not received the money now is getting to 12 hours that I did wire the money, at 9am the 12/21/2022 I called the 1800 number I was told that I will be transferred to someone who will need to authorize it but after waiting for 3 minutes the male customer service that I was transferred to he came back and told me that it will take couple of days for someone to call me for more verification before the wire transfer will be approved, he never told me to go to the nearest Wells Fargo to show more documents that will help me to be able to wire the money. I was left on trying to figure things out myself, is only when my realtor to me to go to the nearest bank to see if they will cancel the transaction and do it over again.That’s when I decided to drive to Wells Fargo North Ridge location 6002 Falls Of Neuse Rd Raleigh and was attended by Kyle Thuringer which the process took almost an hour to be able to cancel the previous transaction and has to redo the transaction again. I’m very disappointed by the Clark in this Fayetteville branch that refused to take just a minute or two to authorize the transaction before heading to lunch, and also the 1800 customer services personnel’s that I called didn’t even know what they’re doing because if they did they could’ve told me to go to the nearest branch to show more documents so they can authorize the wire transaction. To be honest I have decided that from next year January I will change bank and will not be banking with Wells Fargo again. Kyle at the north Ridge location that helped me did a great job and he also said he will file a report about the incident that happened at the Fayetteville location, which I hope he will do so and send it in. If I can give this review zero I will do so.

I went there try to deposit a check. For some reason the atm cannot read it. So the lady started asking questions like “ is this from a insurance claim†, I said no. She asked what is it for. I said “does this matter? “. She said:â€yesâ€. I mean how this matters at all? This is a check that had my name on it, if the atm don't work, then the clerk there can type it to deposit it. So I asked her if the clerk could help. She said no, they won't make any difference. And she told me to tell the company to reprint the check. I was likeâ€????†Ok, then I went to navy federal to deposit it, the lady there deposit it for me without asking any questions and It gave me a conclusion that this branch of Wells Fargo has unprofessional employee that will give you advice to waste your time. Go to other branch or switch a bank.

The employees told me I couldn't park in two specific parking spots and that I had to move my car (No sign designating that by the way) but they didn't tell another regular person the same thing. Mind you my job across the street does daily transactions there hence why I park there in the first place. But No problem closing my accounts cause of your employees. Thank you.
