spectrum sells you a price and slowly increases it for no upgrades. it started at $55/mo which was good then our promotion ended. With no notice our next bill was $70/mo. I login this morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR it's $84/mo. I call to cancel because thats insane with zero changes. Was told the "cancellation team" was out today and they couldn't help me. so you're saying so many people cancel that you have a whole team AND you let them all have the same day off? crazy. Needless to say I will be cancelling tomorrow. If you choose them for WiFi watch your bills and "promotions".

I cancelled my service 2 weeks ago and they said they don't do refunds. They still took the payment out with the excuse that is was for the month I cancelled. Their Internet service is also very poor. Horrible company never again. Would give zero stars if I could.

Spectrum needs to come up with some sort of notification system when they will they will be taking internet servers offline for maintenance. There has been numerous times when inhave been online and have booted from activities because of a drop in service. Really disappointed on how this is handled!

I recently moved from South Carolina to Florida. When I called the company to transfer my account, the rep told me to take the equipment with me and install it in my new house. When I arrived at my new house, I noticed a box with new equipment in it. I returned the new equipment to the store in Port Orange FL. However, when I tried to hook up the old equipment from my SC residence, I had issues. So, I called for a tech to come out. The tech ended up getting the old equipment working. A few days later, I get a call from someone at Spectrum in SC stating they were going to my old home to pick up the old equipment. I told her the situation, and she said she would correct it in the system. A few days later, I notice a $59 charge from spectrum. When I call Spectrum about the charge, the rep said I've been charged for the old equipment. When I tried to explain that the old equipment is hooked up in my new home, she advises that should never have happened. She said that equipment from one state can't be transferred to another state. She also stated she would have send out a new piece of equipment from a FL store, and I would have to return the old piece of equipment to a store or send it back via UPS in order to get the $59 back. After hooking up the new piece of equipment, my wife took the old equipment to the Spectrum store in Port Orange FL. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, she was told by the store rep they would not take the piece of equipment to send back to SC. They told my wife, she would have to take it to a UPS store to be shipped back to SC. This company is the worst! I've been a customer with Spectrum for a few years. Customer service has always been sub-par, but this takes the cake by far. I'm currently deployed, but once I return I'm switching to another internet provider.

Spectrum & Disney caused a tremendous amount of displeaseure over what channels are being made available. Spectrum allowed our most important news channel, ABC-11 WTVD to go off the air the day after Hurricane Idalia hit the Carolinas! People were left uninformed bc of this irrisponsible action! ESPN and other stations cancelled over Labor Day weekend 2023 bc of these incredibly greedy actions! Why weren't all these stations left on while negotiations were ongoing? Will the Spectrum customers be refunded? Probably not, so it's time to cancell SPECTRUM and DISNEY all together! Stream all I want via an APP.

I have been a long time customer been with you guys since 2018. I get the lowest form of wifi 300 and I was paying $45 for the first year before it increased. After my first year, it did increase to $65 in 2019 That was ok. I was aware of the increase. My problem now is in the passed year 2022-2023 my wifi has increased from $65, to $74.99, to $79.99 and now $84.99. I was not informed of this increase I just got my bill and it was higher. I am upset because I get offered from spectrum almost weekly trying to get me to get a mobile line, cable. And if I were to get those things my bill would be cheaper than just having only wifi. Make that make sense. I have the lowest form of wifi and I pay $84.99 but they offer me a phone and wfi for $80 a month, Some people are living paycheck to paycheck and these people don't even give us a heads up. THREE TIMES IN ONE YEAR? I call to ask why and didn't get no answer that made sense. There is no reason my bill went up three times in one year after being a customer since 2018 for only wifi. I will be canceling my service and will be going elsewhere and I will be having my family join me in boycotting spectrum. They are greedy, careless and don't care about us. After speaking with other competitors I have found a new company that will not steal from me. Because that's what it is, taking advantage and stealing. No heads up, same service and my price goes up. So if you want to spend unnecessary money, stay with spectrum. But for everyone I would not waste your time and money with them.

***READ*** Check your email and Spectrum App after visiting this store. Got a change of service email after going to this store to simply ask what my bill was going to be after returning my cable box and and the employee added Spectrum Voice to my account. A home phone or spectrum voice was never mentioned in the maybe 8 minutes we were standing there talking to her. Then I called the support line and they were no help. I was told "this happens from time to time" and to call back the next day. Going to call Today to just cancel my services, but I've heard they give you a hard time with that as well. Spectrum really needs to be exposed as a scam.

Terrible service I'm going. Been on the phone 5 hours again with no help. I'm going to just cancel all my services and take my chances with metro net. I have had service for 20 years and it makes no since to sit on the phone for hours everyday and get no answers but service errors. And the people in the store don't even know prices or specs for devices. It's getting ridiculous. I advise everyone I know to switch.

Canceled account but would not help me cancel & return equipment. Surrounded me, called police and asked me to leave because I wanted to take a picture of person and package (modem, router) being returned. Pitiful customer service. This happened today but there is much more incompetence dating back to 17 February 2023. Beware!

Average quality service and cost. However, when we moved, they made it extremely difficult to cancel our cable. The "retention specialist" was very obnoxious. Also, instead of using our on-file payment information as we assumed they would, or sending us a bill, to settle the last payment, they did something I think was unethical and unacceptable. Use Spectrum/Charter at your own risk.

SWITCH TO METRONET FIBEROPTICPay for 300 mbs and hardwired with one device on the network (the device I run my speed test with) I pull 70 mbs. A quarter of what we pay for. Metronet provides 1000 mbs for the same price. Customer Service doesn’t care to help. I suggest switching over like we did. I now have the best connection we have ever seen.Buyer Beware!
