Buyer beware! This place is a joke. They tried to deny my return of $300 saying because I used a discount code. Had to prove them wrong and now it’s been over three weeks since I mailed my return and still nothing. They just write “sending it over to Texas team” or “we’re reviewing” do not order from this place.

I love this store and it has great customer service! I ordered the wrong size of a sweater and I sent an email to them right away seeing if they could change it. I got an email back the next day saying they switched my sizing, my order had already been shipped so I called to confirm. I got an answer to the call right away and the nice lady told me everything was all set and I would receive the correct size I needed! Also fast shipping because my order was sent out the day after I ordered it. When I saw all these negative reviews I was shocked because I have never had a bad experience with Southern Alternative.

I have read the reviews so far about the customer service but that was not my experience.I had ordered a pair of shorts which arrived with a broken zipper. I immediately reached out to customer service and got a response within a day. From there the lovely customer service person made sure I got the size I wanted and that the problem was made right. I have never had better customer service from an online boutique.Although the shorts did arrive defective, they are high quality denim! I will be returning and buying more in the future.

If I could give this company a negative score I would. They have absolutely no customer service. They never reply to your calls or emails. Additionally we bought a dress here that was small and returned it only to find out that we could only get store credit. We bought other items on the store credit which were also too small and then they made excuses why they wouldn’t take those back as well. IE it was a “western sale” so they don’t take it back.Small is actually extra small here. My daughter is a size 2 and the small was tiny. Once you’re in the loop you can’t get out, you only have store credit to work with and must read the fine print with every purchase. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. We are sorry we ever heard of it.

At this point.. they don’t even deserve a 1 star review from reading all the reviews. Because another customer is now experiencing what so many others have. I should have looked at the reviews before I ordered. I ordered a super cute dress but unfortunately when I received the dress it was not flattering on me! Is what it is. I go to return it and realize they only do e-gift cards. That was a bummer but it was my fault for not checking… I put in my return on 3/15, the day I got my package. No word from them. I email them again on the 28th and still nothing. I’ve tried calling them as well and every time it goes to a voicemail… and of course there’s no more space to leave a voicemail.What a horrible experience. Never again.

Very, very, VERY cheap material, The threads are coming undone right away. You would get better clothing on Amazon from off-brand companies for CHEAPER. I'm just stating facts.

Bought two white dresses for anniversary photos. Loved one but it came damaged. The second was way too revealing on me since I’m 5’9 so I decided to send them both back for store credit but it says the items are non-returnable. Sooooo I’m stuck with a damaged dress and another one I’ll never wear. :(

Ordered a jacket for a Christmas gift. Never arrived. Sent an email. It's been 2 weeks, no response. Voicemail has been full for weeks also and never cleared. I will never buy from this company again. Worst customer service ever.

I feel bad for reviews bc their clothes are adorable and good material yes some of the stuff feels and is cheap but most of the stuff is really nice and cute and have really nice dresses and jackets, to scared to try the jeans and them not fit but their Aztec crochet cardigan has become my absolute favorite two layers well made super soft and never had a issue with shipping and all clothes came no issue although I will say they're support team definitely needs some help they have probably been short staffed since COVID I notice y'all took a hit with it stay strong been following y'all since 2017 ❤️

Terrible customer service. I placed an order during their Black Friday sale. They shipped package but did not include the boots I purchased in the package.I reached out to them on 12/5/2022 regarding this issue. I did not hear back from them for 4 days where they responded that they would check with their warehouse team. It has been almost two weeks now and I still have not heard back from them or had this resolved. I did email them 2nd time with no response. Every time I call their customer service phone number, no one answers and their voice mailbox is full.I will not be purchasing from this store ever again because of this. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Wanted to buy clothes at their physical store. It's their with the items on the display window kinda weird they wont open maybe to avoid taxes or hiring people. Why bother to have the physical store and not to reopen after covid ? Other stores are open as well as society
