My husband has been trying to get a response from them, about their up coming class. He messaged them on the 3rd. He called before that, as well. Then having looked at the event for the next class & it specifies to email them, he did so on the 6th & followed that up with a call. He even called today. Not responding to potential customers is just bad business. If you can’t depend on them to respond to you, what else can’t you depend on???

River run seems like it may have been a great training place but their communication skills are severely lacking. It takes 2-5 days for a response, if you even get a response. I had signed my Duck Toller up for classes starting March 21 and had correspondence from Riverrun stating such. I emailed four days prior to the course to verify it was still happening due to COVID, with no response. I arrived to their house even though I had no confirmed response (a 45 minute drive) on

I arrived to their house even though I had no confirmed response (a 45 minute drive) on the 21st to find out training had been cancelled. Somehow we weren't on the list even though the email traffic showed we were signed up. Paula was apologetic and told us we would get the training service half off when they open back up for the miscommunication. She requested that I send her an email with all the information. I sent two emails and called and left voicemails twice over the last week with zero response. It should never be this hard to request services therefore I will be going elsewhere. If their communication with humans is this bad, I'd be surprised to see anything better with my pet. After wasting my time, I'll pay more for training elsewhere.

They were so patient with us. Our strong 75-pound pup was new to the family when we started at Riverrun. He was eager to learn but easily distracted by the other dogs in the class. We might have gotten frustrated, but they never batted an eye, and patiently helped us learn to train our buddy.

Have had the pleasure of working with River Run for 6 years. Initially for puppy & basic obedience training. But, that led to overcoming shyness in my first sheltie. From there , more shelties, more training. On to agility, Rally Obedience , Canine Good Citizens & therapy dogs.
