The folks here (including the shop cat) are all extremely nice. They are willing to take the time to explain everything and services are performed in a timely manner. Everything I have had done has been done well.I think they are a little pricey, hence the four stars.Heads up, do not bring your own parts in an effort to save money. They will not use anything you bring. This can be frustrating.

The Inspection costs $30 and I ended up paying $70; Because my windshield wiper was damaged, I wanted to go buy it at Walmart, but they told me that if I left there, it would look like it had not passed the Inspection. Last year I did it in Durham, because I lived there, the lights were damaged, and when I went to the Inspection, they waited for me to fix the lights and when I returned they only charged me $6, because they took into account the $24 that I had paid. I moved here to Fayeteville and I am disappointed in Lane Automotive, I don't have much money to pay so much.

I own a 70 charger the mechanics and the owner a very respectful they take the time explain what needs to be done they don’t have pressure tactics trying to sell nor make you get work done that don’t need to be done they took care of my car while work was being done on it they covered it at night when I had to leave itWhen I had a medical issue come up they did not charge anything extra for storage if you want good mechanics you need to take it to lane automotive I willBe back honest mechanics are hard to come by

One star cause I can't give them a zero. I'm a female and I dislike being told lies. Im little of a YouTube mechanic. I ask for a quote for a suspension compressor on a Lincoln Navigator. He tells me 850 is the estimate but depending on what state my vehicle suspension compressor was made is going to depend on the price. I called NAPA for the part and to validate this state's making different parts which was a lie. Arguing was pointless to someone that just wants to take advantage ugh so over this place and I didn't even use them. Thanks to there bad customer service I did it myself for 300.

Took two vehicles here three times. First time for front brake pad replacement. They didn't put the pads or the safety clips back on correctly. All kinds of banging and clanking going down the road. I did take it back in and they solved nothing. I had to fix the problem and they got paid for labor. Next was an engine replacement. The 2 stars are only for the engine as it hasn't blown up yet. Engine cost and time line was as stated to me but he failed to properly secure any of the plastic coverings under the hood around the engine/radiator and threw away half of my under carriage engine cover. He probably lost all the clips and said oh well. Needless to say, one plastic cover that was loose fell between the engine and the radiator fans causing the fans to stop spinning and overheating my car. took me a bit to figure this out. Then while placing the upper radiator hose, he broke the outlet pipe on the radiator. Fluid had been leaking for a while before I saw it. I don't know how he didn't see this as it's under pressure. It's probably why the spring clamp wasn't put back on and instead a worm clamp was placed on to try and hide the leak. Last experience was when I needed a bolt loosened. Needed to replace a part that they had over torqued a bolt on. What was I told, we can't loosen a bolt we over tightened. A mechanic can't loosen a bolt they put on. Go at your own risk.
