Horrible experience! DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ!!!! If they make a mistake, you will never get that money back unless you call your bank to dispute charges and get a new card. They have charged me for over a week more than I had it. Its been 3 weeks and I still have new charges coming out. Corporate office is no help- their emails offer no assistance or solutions. Local office owned the mistake after I showed a video of me putting my receipt and keys in the drop box. They never checked the truck back in before renting it back out, and now I continue to suffer multiple charges. Imagine waking up once a week for 3 weeks in a row to have new charges of $665, $582 and $97 for a vehicle you had for not even 3 hours. Bank has disputed charges but now I have to get a new card because corporate office is blatantly doing nothing. Their first email response was asking me to show proof of boarding pass....which has nothing to do with renting a vehicle. It was a one way from airport to airport, got in my POV and drove home. Have proof of that. And yet, corporate won't act on this at all. I am also filing a complaint with BBB. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you. You roll a big dice giving them your card information. If they make a mistake, you will go through hell to get it resolved.

Stay away from this location, the people in the counter are extremely rude and unprofessional. Online customer service sent me to this location to exchange my rental because it had 1% oil life and I was driving to Florida. However this location said they are Hertz franchise and will not honor the corporate exchanges. Great job Hertz/ Thrifty for not taking care of the customers and giving them cars that have only 5% oil life left on them.

I've dealt with Hertz for years at various locations around the US and Europe, and I appreciate their service. The Fayetteville Airport location is okay, but very difficult to contact by phone during business hours. That makes it very frustrating when my travel plans change, which happens occasionally. At least have the answering service activated.

I arrived at almost midnight late Sunday night and my reservation wasn’t honored as they had no cars. The next day I was told to come back at 4:30pm and they guaranteed me a car; arrived and no car available. After some time two cars finally come available for my coworker and I. I asked numerous time since Sunday night for a supervisor to call me and today is Saturday morning and no call. I’ve called several times no answer. This morning I return the car with no agent present and the drop off box taped shut with no further instructions or where to leave the key. (My flight was 0630am) It also wasn’t told to me where at the time of rental. This Hertz is horrible.Update: management still never called me back 11/2/23

I made a reservation then I called after 24 hrs to make sure of my reservation they told me we couldn't guarantee the vehicle I want because they told me because I was making it on the day of but I told them I made the reservation a couple of days ago then they charge me $100 for cancelation never again and I'm a gold customer they need to make sure they needed a 0 ratings

GSP Transportation INC is the owning business, looks like they are cutting corners and we are paying for it.
I rented a car back in August, and just got a bill from them today for the Tolls I passed. I'm happy to pay but why wait 5 months after your business received the bill to contact me.
Even worse, they send it like a debt collection letter, when this is the first notice I had that this existed!
Only crooks behave this way.
And my only option to pay is check or money order? What legitimate multi state business opererates like this. I'm going to mail you money. In 2023.
I know our options are limited these days but avoid any shell business this company is operating, like Hertz.

I RECCOMMEND THAT NO ONE USE THIS CAR SERVICE. Making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting my lawyer. Rented a card with my points and was going to be charged $99 BUT HERTZ charged me $760. They are refusing to give me my money back. Hertz stated I park at the wrong lot but I distinctly remember parking in the hertz lot, spot number 187 at 5:55p.m on August 4th 2022 with 32475 miles on the car. There was no attendant at the hurtz desk when I picked up my car, as well as when I returned the car. Worse service in fayetteville.

It took over an hour and half to receive the rental. The lady at the desk always said we were next this last several hours. People behind us in line got there rental almost immediately and we couldn't get ours until they've been closed for over 30 mins. Highly don't recommend.

I would think twice about ordering for them. They are independent for the Hertz customer service so getting in contact with them is very difficult and is a painful process.

Small airport, one associate covers 3 companies- Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty so the wait was long and slow. The return was much quicker. Car was clean and in good condition.

Very unprofessional. I have never gotten sent to another business line to deal with transactions.No one was at the hertz counter and another customer alerted me they were lining everyone up at the rental business counter 2 counters down. Then when I mentioned I was just trying to return my rental the lady that works for hertz gave me attitude about it when I finally seen the key drop and just dropped my key instead of dealing with the long line of multiple businesses together.

I spoke with Cindy in 6/7 to confirm that I would be able to pick up my rental car when my flight arrived after midnight on 6/9, yet they were closed and I was left stranded at the airport. I was lied too!!!! Now I have to wait until they open this morning and get my rental vehicle. Extremely inconvenient!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Agent at counter was great. Prepaid for my rental online, get to counter and magically my card is not the card on file. I show the agent the charge against my card and he tells me to call and update the card in file.... After 35 minutes of the phone agent repeatedly talking over me, he hangs up because I kept asking for a supervisor. Call back and 20 minutes later I still have to give them another card....three days later they charge my initial card again! $2100 for a $700 rental. Dispute opened with my cardholder. Do better Hertz!
