I have never dealt with a more combative group of people than with this center. After providing legal documentation allowing me access to my son's files, the center director, Joy Smith refused to supply anything but a single piece of paper. Not only this, but she refused to let me speak with any of his teachers (on the phone or on a zoom call). At this time, we are considering legal action for their unwillingness to follow a court order. I would highly consider placing your child in another facility.

Definitely has gone down in quality over the years. I don't have enough time in the day to express why KinderCare is not the place to send your children. My kids have been there for about 3-4 years I believe and the only good thing I can say is they work with the parents as much as they can for the most part. There are a few employees who actually take pride in their job but the rest of them are lazy, neglectful, and incompetent. I'm going to hit the most recent reasons why I wouldn't even recommend sending your dog there. Yesterday I was called and said my 3 year old who is potty trained had an accident on herself. I was told by the assistant director my daughter said she had to use the bathroom but they had no one to take her. I said so y'all just let her stand there and pee on herself? She then says well yea...pretty much because we couldn't send her by herself...(although her class is about 4 steps away from the bathroom) . One day after it had been raining all week and all day, they took the kids outside. Even though there is no area to take them that's not covered in puddles and mud. I went to pick my daughter up and she was soaked from her waist down. I was told she jumped in a puddle. Her socks and shoes were soaked...pants and undies soaked and it was freezing outside. Instead of changing her clothes (because she definitely had spare clothes) they allowed her to walk around in drenched clothes and tried to send her home that way. The director saw how pissed I was and sent her back to be changed. She then was sent back to me in the same soaked shoes...completely defeated the purpose in changing her socks My 11 year old had a grown women (teacher) talk to her disrespectfully, then that teacher and another teacher talked about her like she wasn't sitting there...just antagonizing her, "Your parents must not be raising y'all right, if you were mine I'd smack you dead in your mouth". Brought it to the directors attention and told her I wanted to speak with the teacher (with the director present) to get to the bottom of the situation. I was told she didn't want to bring her to talk because "she doesn't know how the teacher would respond", ...in a professional setting I would expect her to be respectful and PROFESSIONAL. Needless to say, IM COMPLETELY OVER THIS DAYCARE. Cannot get my baby out of there fast enough smh

My son is attending the preschool program with Ms. Erica and my daughter is in Ms. LeLe and Ms. Amy’s class. The start of this school year has shown great change and progress. I see and hear all the wonderful things they are learning from the curriculum and basic life tools to help them be successful. The teachers are caring and generous and show their love everyday they come in.My children are excited to see their friends and teachers and look forward to school each day they wake up.I love the management team; Ms. Joy, Ms. Tammy and Ms. Kim. We are always greeted with a smile and welcoming words!!

Well if you let your kids go here expect cps to be called they have called them twice on my kids 1 because my son had a bruise you know since a 3 year old boy is expected to not get bruised or scratched up playing then on my daughter for a diaper rash when they have seen the doctors paperwork stating clear as day she has sensitive skin so if her cream isnt applied or the right diapers used she will get 1 or even if she has diarrhea then lie saying they never got told about any of this then refuse to talk about any of it with me or my wife then have the audacity to refuse to answer basic questions on the phone overall terrible place

I love this facility. My son started going here in August 2017 and we still go here. I need to be informed of what is going on in my sons life, I mean what mom doesn’t? The first week there he came home with some marks and I wasn’t informed of anything that had happened that day when I picked him up. So I emailed voicing my concerns and they called me the next morning before I even took him in to resolve the issue. Now every time I pick him up, I get an update on his day, how he acted, the food he eat, and more. It’s great. I think that’s a great change they have made and have stuck to.His teachers are so nice and Friendly. They treat him like a person with respect and love. I look into the classroom almost everyday after I drop him off and before I pick him up to just watch how he is interacting with everyone and to see how the teachers are responding to the kids. Everyday I am more impressed with them and how they have brought my son out of his shell. When I first brought my son in, he was not talking or even making much noise. Now he’s actually saying words and singing along with everyone at circle time. I can tell he enjoys his time with the kids and the staff. The director and assistant director have been very nice and helpful. I have went to them several times lol they are probably tired of me; and they handle each situation very professional and in good time, even the couple times I have given them attitude. I recommend them to everyone.

I was walking through about to enroll my daughter and i was shocked!!! I will not send her here. The kids in the room she was going to be in we're dirty. And i am sure they parents didn't send them to school like that. It was lunch time and they didn't wash the dirt off the kids hands. The little white boy got up to ask for something but was so scared to look at the teacher which she yelled at him are you suppose to get up. Then all the kids looked scared when she got loud. The 2 big woman didn't even get up to say hello they just sat there on they chairs looking annoyed. I will not send my kids here!!! I seen enough my kids mean more than my life and i pray that the kids in her class are not being abused or neglect. It was so close to my oldest daughter school i thought ok this is great. But after my walk through with the 3 year old room hell nooooo!!!!

They use to be 5 star quality when the old director was there but ever since the new one , June came things went downhill . My son has between 20-25 incident reports. Now my son plays inside & outside at home & everywhere else but doesn’t get bruised or cut up. I always had to tell them to tie my son shoes & to wipe his nose. They still don’t do that, I had to change my sons shoes to the Velcro strap on because they are so damn lazy with tieing shoes. The toddler daycare complained about changing my son diaper when they get paid to do that . I don’t kno what’s going on inside that facility but they don’t care about the kids . Kindercare is good but not this location. DO NOT BRING YOURS KIDS TO FORT BRAGG KINDERCARE . My son has a big scratch on his back that no one supposedly knows about. My son is only one so he can’t communicate much, he use to love going there but every time I drop him off he is screaming on the top of his lungs .
