I set my cart aside for for five minutes to go outside and get my wallet and these people took my meat and frozen items out of my cart without telling me. U even asked ahead of time and told them what I was doing.
Then I waited an hour in line watching them let some lady run 3 different cards 10 times over and over, only to put everything back because she had no money. I didn't even know they took my items out until I got home. Now I need to go back to the store a second time. They turned a 1 hour shopping trip into a 3 hour ordeal. I'd give them zero stars if I could. What a waste of my Saturday.
They just said, Im very sorry sir, we had full registers. Nothing meaningful to make things right.

I usually order my groceries in advance and pick them up curbside. Since I’ve been doing that for a few months it’s made shopping so much easier and convenient for myself and my family. The associates that do my order always communicate with me especially if there isn’t something available. With that being said Kayla was very sweet and caring. She’s always is so polite and interacts with my talkative 4 year old in the car. She definitely an essential asset to the food lion team and makes this experience 100x more better. Thank you so much Kayla??

I don’t understand what this world is coming to. You have 4 employees standing by the self check out but no one at the cash register’s. They tell you that the cashier is not here yet. So with all these stores forcing us to scan and bag up our own groceries, I think I speak for all that we start getting major discounts or paid to do their jobs. Especially when you’re just standing there and tell an elderly person they have to go to self check out. I can see people boycotting these stores soon.

There are always at least 2 employees standing around either talking to each other or on cell phones in the SELF checkout area. While we do their job.

I don't understand why you don't stock milk regularly, or at all it seems like, can't really understand a grocery store that doesn't sell milk. I guess it's the same sort of logic that gives businesses 4.3 Stars when all the reviews are one or two stars.

Walked up to the meat department today for assistance. It was the most disgusting looking meat staff I've ever seen behind a counter! What is going on in our world? No standards anymore!
