Thomas came out as the plumber was repairing a leak to estimate damages and took pictures. He was very knowledgeable and honest about repairs and The cost would be under my insurance deductible . He was very helpful in making best route to repairs.

Disappointed, displeased, and still waiting. Installed a LVP flooring that was highly recommended by the owner. I was satisfied with the work, or so I thought. There was some issues, the workmanship lacked the upkeep that was expected. The leveling of the floor in one area of my house was soft and due to this issue that could have been corrected, it caused some havoc to my floor (that wasn't even a couple of months old.) The flooring has come up in the major walk way area of my house. There are multiple planks of flooring that are just sitting on my floor (20 plus pieces). I have contacted the company, and instead of making a professional decision to correct the work, they are sitting on this. Cape Fear Flooring has continued to provide excuse after excuse as to why this repair cannot be completed at this time. Six months later, and we are still waiting.

This originally was a 5 star rating. But a month and a half later they haven't come back to fix anything. We told them multiple times "don't throw away the flooring, it has been discontinued", but they tossed it anyway. After waiting a month I fixed my laundry room. Since I fixed the laundry room the two rooms and ceiling apparently wasn't worth thier time and they blew us off.

I had a water leak under my house. After the plumbing repair Cape Fear restoration was referred and Brian Jacobs came out. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He helped me understand the problem, the mitigation and repairs process. So far so good.A crew came out to remove crawlspace insulation and set up dryer fans. They were very professional and explained what they were doing and why. They did a great job of cleanup from insulation removal. Will,Forest, Eli, Chris Mac and Dalton were satisfactory to me and I would welcome them back.

We've waited to the end of our repairs before posting this review, as there are many reviews on here posted too early in the process to give an accurate accounting. This process began for us in October 2020, so we've been dealing with this company for a year and a half. If we had known how terrible and stressful this experience with Cape Fear Flooring was going to be, we would have shopped around and found a more competent company to trust our home to. We dealt with water damage and repairs in another state years ago that went smoothly and was completed to our satisfaction within a few months. We share this in hopes of sparing others from making the same mistake in trusting Cape Fear Flooring that we did. We had damage from a water leak in our shower and bathroom that required pulling up all the flooring in the bathroom and all of the tile in the shower and replacing it. This is a BRIEF overview of the issues we've had: -Poor communication and follow up, we constantly had to call in and ask when things would be worked on. They would tell us they'd call by the next week, but after several weeks or a month of not hearing anything we would have to call them. -Unacceptable workmanship from the contracted workers they use, and we still to this day are dealing with problems that they've "fixed". For example, the new grout in the shower and on the floor is already cracking in multiple areas, even though we've already had someone come out to repair them. The tiler also installed several floor tiles upside down, and we had to point it out to him when he thought he was finished. Additionally, they cut all the tiles too short so there is a gap along the wall that the trim did not cover. From mismatching paint to terrible caulking jobs to gouging our tub, these few examples barely scratch the surface of the lack of attention to detail and poor quality work that caused problems we are now left to deal with. We have reached out to them, all the way up to the CEO, hoping they would do something to make this right, only to be ignored and disappointed by them again. Don't make the same mistake we did! Avoid this company at all costs, they do not care about their customers.

My plumber caused my shower to flood and they were nice enough to cover the damages. The mistake they made was chosing cape fear flooring. Mitigation was fast, but shot up my light bill. Then once the insurance process started the repairs stalled significantly. I had my own contractor come out and he quoted me to do 3 rooms for significantly less. 3 months later Im still down one bathroom, and I have to call to get updates. As soon as I do I get a little movement but it's clear the woman in charge of insurance projects isn't keeping up with them. They told me this week someone would come out...never happened. So I'm almost in this for 4 months and haven't gotten anything fully fixed. Never ever ever use them. I'm lucky I didn't have to pay but for all this headache my contractor would have been finished weeks ago. Im scared to see the finished job because apparently they get a third party to do the work.

The response to my review was inaccurate. When your senior sales person came to my home he left saying he would get in touch with his flooring guy and call ME to set up a time the following week to come back. We clearly stated to him when it was convenient for him to come back the following week before he left our home. If he thought he was waiting on a call from us it would have been appropriate to call and see if we were still interested. As far as me not responding to the first quote, frankly I was in sticker shock and upon looking at the details of the quote realized how in accurate the measurements were. hence the overinflated price. I then decided to call and discuss the quote which led to you sending your senior sales rep to correct the estimate.

Brian and his team were really quick to come out. They assessed the damages and gave me an estimate within hours. They sent a team out very quickly to clean up a sewage leak we had under our crawlspace that was preventing the plumber from getting under there to fix it. They were friendly and answered all my questions. Brian even came inside to make sure that I didn’t have any moisture damage in the floor that was over the crawlspace. They took their time and I did not get a sense of anybody rushing to finish. Would highly recommend and would use them again.Services: Water damage cleanup

We had a leak from our bathroom that made its way to the hallway and into the bedrooms. Called a Plummer and they found and corrected the leak. They recommended Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration, who came out within an hour or two. Hayes Fane was the one that came out and went through the entire process of drying, replacing and working with our insurance company. A few days later, the crew came out and setup to start drying and we’re great. Explained what was going on and what to expect. During the entire process, was kept abreast of what was going on with the readings and such. Could not have asked for an awesome crew/company. Outstanding. 100% customer satisfactionService: Water damage cleanup

Bryan the supervisor from the Mitigation department is very professional, and friendly. The team that came to clean up the tiles off the floor did a good job cleaning, and setting up the equipment. Someone is in contact with you through the whole process.Services: Flooring
