Love this place! My family goes in once a month to every other month and are always greeted with friendly faces! I can't remember the male managers name but he is hilarious! I also do 100% recommend getting one of the giant 100$ stuffed animals.

Mrs. Stephanie (aka grandma build a bear) is absolutely amazing!!! My son wanted a stuffy that was out of stock, and she went above and beyond for him. She took the one on display, unstuffed it for him, and let him rebuild it ??? she is incredible, as well as the rest of the staff there! Everyone made sure my son had a wonderful experience!!!

The associate who built my bear was very friendly and kind. However, when I asked for a scent, she shoved it in the lower right leg (which to me is an odd placement). When I notified her that she had not let me put in the bears heart, she had explained she had already closed it and it was too late (she hadn't finished tying it all the way nor cut the string).
As a build a bear collector, I know that you can untie the bears and refluff them. There is no reason she couldn't move the scent to the right placement and add the heart in. If the store was busy, I would have understood and not really minded it. However, my husband and I were the only customers in the store. I found it odd she did not want to try to correct the error.
Normally, I would shrug this kind of thing off, however, build a bears are not cheap. I feel that the experience of building the bear adds to the overall value. I think you're paying for the bear and the experience. Despite her being nice, she didn't do the usual rituals that come with the bear, and made errors that could have been easily corrected with more effort and care.
I love build a bear and i usually have a wonderful experience, but this time, I did not. I was sad that my bear did not get a heart nor the correct scent placement.
I want to reiterate that the associate was very friendly. She even complimented my husband. I don't think she was trying to do wrong or make me upset, however, I think there was a lack of care building the bear on her part, which left me unsatisfied. I also wish she had corrected the error when asked vs replying that it was "too late" when it in fact was not.
I will go to another build a bear to correct the mistakes the associate made on another day... Thankyou.

Horrible experience, employee was absolutely rude, ruined whole day. I don’t get why you would work with children and not have patience.

Had a very bad experience with a rude employee. My child misplaced a bunny and she asked us to put it back. We didn’t know where it came from. After leaving this situation we began wandering around trying to recover. The employee then walked up to us and confronted us about the misplacement again. We left and will not be coming back. Ruined my entire family experience

This is a heritage style store, ( a traditional store that hasn't been remodeled). I absolutely loved visiting this store. Compassion was a wonderful Bear builder and went out of her way to assist us. I cannot wait to come back and visit this location again.

Experience today was terrible. Everyone had attitudes and nobody was offering help. I asked how long the scent is supposed to last in the bear and they lady didn't know. Build a bear is a place kids go in excited and the workers should act just as excited to keep them babies happy. Nobody acted like they wanted to be there. Smh.

Great experience! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff made my Daughters experience great! We went on a week day around lunch time and it was not busy at all. There is a great selection of animals and clothing for the bears! Will go back !

We ordered a build a bear online for my daughter to put her pacifier in and we went in store and got it unstuffed and restuffed so she could have the experience and everyone in the store just seemed miserable and the person helping us made me put the pacifier in instead of her (which I wanted her to do it so she understood where it was going) and then sewed it up horribly because as soon as we left my daughter pulled the string out with one pull so now I have to hide it until we can sew it up ourselves.
