I almost didn’t pick up a sandwich, but I’m so glad I did. The Charleston Chicken wrap very flavorful( I’m betting chicken thighs), was totally worth the $8. I don’t come down here too often but when I do it’s worth a stop.They carry a ton of local products ( like Goddess Ghee! Hickory Nut Farm meats, a stunning assortment of drinks in the cooler I’ve never heard of… ) And an array of healthy snack food!And if you’re into Joey’s Bagels you can order them on Trout Lily website to pick up on Monday! That’s a treat I may have more often now.

Lovely little spot for groceries, or better yet sandwiches! I've been here a couple of times and can say parking is always available and staff are friendly. I've always ordered ahead and then picked the food up to go. Plenty of creative veggie and vegan options alongside the meatier choices, and some gluten free cookies for those who want them!

My wife and I stopped in for a sandwich to split to hold us over until dinner. We tried the chicken melt and a cup of their broccoli and cheese soup. The sandwich was pretty good, the soup was pretty watery and a little bland. But definitely a cute little shop. I would be interested to try some of their other sandwiches sometime.

I really like the food but the last two times ive been they would treat my female freind completely normal but treat me like i did something wrong. This last time i went it was just rude when it was them that messed up i asked for gluten free the women checking me out repeated it three times. It was not gluten free then she was acting like i was in the wrong and obviously annoyed. Listen I've worked in customer service for years myself i get it but damn i just don't understand the treatment. I say yes please, thank you and don't complain or be rude so why? I’m literally in the same working class chill.

Great local selection, and yummy sandwiches. They don't respond well to constructive criticism and don't seem to care much about customer input. Chicken salad is made with dark meat. Pretentious response when suggestions were made to use white meat. Guess what? ALL chicken is antibiotic and hormone free, not just yours! Ingles also carries a lot of the same local goods- for less. And they use white meat in their chicken salad.

This is a wonderfully delightful folksy place. The staff is warm and friendly. Great selection of sandwiches, cookies, tea, and a wonderful refrigeration section.Parking is available on the front and the side of the building. Easy in and out. Bring a cooler.
