Hickory Nut Gap Farm is nestled in Fairview, North Carolina, just a short drive from Asheville. The farm is open for visits year-round, where folks can shop the farm store, attend events, and tour the grounds. The farm store offers a fantastic selection of local foods, including delicious fresh beef, pork, and chicken. The meats are fantastic, humanely raised, pasture fed, and have no nasty fillers. The bratwurst are noted as the best. It is an incredible resource for picking up some of the highest quality meats for reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The farm also hosts events and workshops, and provides venue rental options, making it a place with lots of people and a favorite food experience for many.
They had a truck sale and I got a great deal on some steaks.

ASAP farm tours is the best way to support local and see several farms in the area in one weekend. Got to ride a horse and a hay ride around to see the pigs and cows.
