My husband & I have lived all over the world and have loved Orchids. We were so suprised to find Appalachian Tropicals so close to our new home in Fairview NC in 2013. They have the best Orchids & Air Plants that we have ever seen along with the best Customer Service.

It was our first time here and we had a wonderful experience due to a delightful young girl Sarah. She was very friendly and professional not only answered our many questions and even gave us two hand written instructions on how to take care our newly purchased orchids! We had a great time there and will definitely be back next time!! Thank you Sarah!!!

I absolutely adore this greenhouse! I have a business account with them and I'm never disappointed with their varieties! Prices are great, the employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and ever so patient with me while I'm making my choices! I recently had a photo shoot done here as well (I highly suggest Sarah Hooker with Virago Boudoir) and it was the perfect place for beautiful images! I can't say enough great things about Appalachian Tropicals!

Appalchian tropicals is amazing!! People had been telling me about it for months and i wish i had gone there sooner. I was speechless to their selection of air plants and orchids! I left with this beautiful vanda orchid and some other goodies. Can't wait to go back and get more babies to add to my house :)

One of the most incredible orchid greenhouses I've ever been to. I left with two plants in spike that have bloomed beautifully. We got a tour of the greenhouse and they have a 50+ year old Vanda that is constantly blooming and smells incredible. Great selection of epiphytes and tillandsia. Will return for sure when in Asheville.
