The new people here are very rude when owner is not working. Was waiting in line and at 10:15 am behind a gentleman that proceeded to order about everything that was left. While waiting another lady put out a tray of taters. Since the man in front of me took the last hash brown I ordered the last steak biscuit and taters. The lady said that she couldn't sell the taters until 11:15 am which by then they would be dried out from the heat lamps. I told her she could keep her biscuit then. Wish I could take back the $33 worth of dried out chicken my wife bought on Sunday.This place is really going downhill lately. Used to be a friendly place to go but the new help is going to run them into the ground

Well now. Correct me if i shouldn’t be irritated about this. I go into the E-Mart in Erwin to gets 3 wing Dinner. First off the attitude of the workers are something but I get it they hate their job. Second they went to put the wing in parchment paper for the grease to get everywhere and separately wrap the Tater wedges and rolls. Then they put it in a bag. When I asked for them to put it all in a styrofoam plate like normal they get more attitude and mumbled we have to charge for plates. I was like what in 35 years of going in there I’ve never been charged for them to put my food in a plate it should go in anyway. So I say screw it a just walk out. So we’re being charged for plates, what’s next the sporks, Forks and knives oh wait Napkins. I usually go in there at least 5 times a week. Not anymore I will never go in there again. The customer service of the workers when the owner isn’t there is terrible. They clearly don’t care. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Hands down the best potato wedges ever!! I drive 10 miles for them at least 3 times a week. My only advice is to take out some of the larger ones ?

Love some e Mart spicy chicken, best chicken around.... Just need to get rid of the tall hateful black woman that runs the cash register, she is very sarcastic and rude, acts like she hates it when you come in to order food!! If she wasn't there I'd give five stars!!!!
