This was our first visit to State Road Animal Hospital. I was so impressed and pleased with our visit. Dr. Longstreet was so patient and good with Stella. She definitely made Stella feel more at ease with being there. Dr. Longstreet answered all of my questions and she really took the time to get to know us. Thank you!

State Road Animal Hospital provides excellent customer care for families who love their pets. The entire staff is knowledgeable, caring, and able to provide the very best in pet care. They also ensure that each pet parents understand how to thoroughly care for their pet and maintain the very best of health care for their pets lifetime. Why would you go anywhere else?

Squeezed in my sick kitty even though they were booked ahead. Kind and caring staff and I felt charges were reasonable.

They are so friendly and seem to actually care! Can't say enough about the staff and Dr.Reeves. Every time I had to rush my dog in, they fit him in. They genuinely cared to the end.

I love the Vets here. Took the time to explain everything, and since I have smaller dogs she spread the vaccinations out over a few weeks so it wasn’t as hard on our babies. We also had our lil Maltichon’s teeth cleaned and some extracted, they kept us updated on how everything went and let us see before and after photos of the procedure. Excellent!

We absolutely love and appreciate Dr. Longstreet! She is the reason our senior dog kept her eye, our previous vet was going to remove it.

Very nice sweet and caring lady I spoke with over the phone. You can tell they genuinely care. They was booked today but I'd recommend places like this any day to care for your pets.

Use to come here but they have got worse use to be good at there old location but idk what has happened to them. They have really went up on there prices and they don't act like they care anymore. Will continue to drive up to twin oaks vet in Sparta

I cannot say enough great things about State Road Animal Hospital.The staff is absolutely amazing and professional in every possible way. Each Doctor is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.The office is immaculate well organized and always sanitized when I arrive.I moved my breeding business and personal pets a year ago, after moving from a very unprofessional office in the Yadkinville area. Moving to State Road Animal Hospital was the best thing I have done not only for my pets, but my staff and clients as well.Finally, to close, I recently had to let my male German Shepard go.The decision was stressful and terrible to go through. The staff and doctors were all so patient, supportive and kind. I felt informed and more at peace with the decision to let him go, as a direct result of their thoughtful support.Thank you so much State Road Staff, you are all absolutely amazing people.

Unfortunately I’ve lost confidence with state road hospital!, I took my dog in due to vomiting and a new vet named Dr. Longstreet assisted us, after feeling of my dogs stomach the vet sent us home without an X-ray or any other form of exam with only antibiotics in hand. Later that night she continued vomiting so I called state roads emergency’s number with no luck. The following morning my pup was still sick so we returned to state road and at that point Dr. Longstreet x rayed her determining she had aspirated so I left her with Dr. Longstreet for in-house treatment. By three o’clock I received a call from dr. Longstreet leaving a message saying my dog had passed at 12:00. for the life of me I don’t understand how this women is a vet! If dr. Longstreet had X-rayed my pup the day before, her death could’ve possibly been avoided. I’ve been a client with state road for 14 years and have never been so disappointed with the lack of consideration of my pets health and life as I’m at this time.Dr. Longstreet is a new vet at State Road, in experienced, inconsiderate and unfortunately with no compassion for her clients. All I can say is beware

So disappointing. Something has changed. We've been taking our animals to State Road for over 20 years and have always had great experiences until now. Our cat was attacked by a raccoon - we called State Road and were told they were not taking emergencies and it would be at least a week. We then took her to another local vet who stabilized her, treated the wounds, and diagnosed a dislocated hip. When we picked her up, they recommended we follow up with State Road ASAP about the hip, so we called back and were told it would now be two weeks, there were no openings for emergencies, and then Tiffany (who I was speaking to) said "The thing about hip dislocations is that the longer they are out the harder it is to fix". And then reiterated that they dont have any time to see her, but that I could call every day to see if there was an opening. I then asked if she could refer us to someone else, to which she replied, "No I really dont know anyone". We will of course find someone to treat her, but it looks like there is no longer any mechanism in place to treat emergencies at State Road - so if you do choose to use these folks just know they will not be there for you when you really need them.

I found it to be a extremely negative experience for me and my dog .. the doctor is very rude and u helpful ... talked down to me and was just unpleasant overpriced and unfeeling

I love Dr Chelsea Brown and Dr Reeves. They are amazing. I highly recommend both. They have been great with my papillion recues.
