188 Claremont Dr, ElkinWe’ve had good experiences with Dr Brinegar and Dr Garing. Very thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable. The office is clean and comfortable, prices reasonable; I would definitely recommend them to friends or family.
The parking lot is sloped, tight for larger vehicles and it can be hard to turn around or get into some of the spaces. The front desk staff are professional although not necessarily friendly; It’s not uncommon to stand unacknowledged waiting at the desk for 10 minutes or more when one person is in front of you or no one is but generally they are knowledgeable, easy to get on the phone and are willing to find the answer to any questions you may have.
Prices are reasonable compared to other vet offices we have used in larger areas.

They do a great job of keeping my babies and grooming them also. I am extremely picky of where I keep my babies and I would put Man’s Best Friend at the top of the list of the kennels I have used in this area.

The wine tasting is fantastic (we loved the chardonnay - even though we are red wine people), but the best part was Mandy! Very informative about the wines; but also about the area (lodging, restaurants, events, etc)! Most personalized experience we've had in the area!! We will make this our first stop everytime we come through! Also kid friendly!

961 N Bridge St, ElkinQuaint little spot in a nice little area. Parking lot was full, that's usually a good sign. A short wait when we get walked in on a Sunday around noon. Got seated. Camry (like the car) was our server, she goes above and beyond. She kept our beverages full, and came by to check on us plenty. A shining star, you're appreciated. The food was ordered and came out quickly despite the after church bustle and hustle. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was pleasant. My dining date had a burger. We both cleaned our plates, meaning the food smacked. Thank you Camry for taking good care of us, and the table next to us, she literally spent 5-10 minutes on her hands and knees leveling out the table for the party next to us.. above and beyond. Exemplary service award

318 Elkin Creek Mill Rd, ElkinWe stayed here for a couple of days in October. Very nice & comfortable cabin. Loved being on the creek. The coal fired pizza on Sunday was absolutely delicious! Enjoyed the wine. Will definitely visit again!
