Highly recommend Brian Shelton at GB Energy for his good service on installing my Rinnai tankless hot water heater! The installation was done on-time and looks/works great! Pricing is very fair and better than others in the area. They had a problem with my propane line from my tank to my house and had to come back and replace that a few weeks later. During the burying of the line, my internet line was accidentally cut but Brian was diligent in meeting the internet company to ensure it was fixed……highly recommend!

New to the area.First time here and was greeted with a smile! I met Hose and he filled my propane tanks for me.Very polite young man! Go see them, you won't be disappointed!

get rid of the girl in thr front at the mills river office. She's very rude. I've been with G&B for a very long time and the office management retired,wonderful person by the way, but the new ones are d*** as a rock. took 3 weeks to get my gas which cost $730.00 and they charged my card $1197.00. I'm done. I will say that Anthony Sabastion in the Elkin office was super helpful and went out of his way to help us

Gary Johnson with the Boone office is phenomenal! Always courteous and professional. Service is outstanding. I can't say enough about this group. My other gas company took a month to refill my tank in the dead of winter last year. Ended up running out. They always made me feel they had other things more important than getting my tank filled. Highly recommend this group. Thanks guys :)

Very disappointed with this company. Was trying to go with a smaller local company and it has been recommended to me. Never felt like somewhere wanted my business less. Was trying to hook up a new commercial account. Scheduled them to come out about four days in advance. Waited on them the entire day. At 3 PM I called to see if they were still coming they assured me that someone was. Call back at 5 PM and was told I know no one called you?I had taken that day off of work to meet with them. The next day They showed up halfway through the day when I could not be there. I asked for them to call and communicate with me about what needed to be done. No one called me. They told the girl that works for me they were going out back to check the lines. So I rushed to get done to come over and meet them only to find out they had left. Never told her. And never called me. I waited Monday morning for a phone call to finally find out what needed to be done. Again no one called. By 1 PM I was quite angry I just gave up on the company entirely.I run two businesses myself. Obviously their customer service is not up to par. Hopefully the owner will read this and not lose any more business over it.

I have been trying to get my refund from this company for over a month. I have called twice and still have not received a check in the mail. Both times the Elkin office tried to immediately transfer me to the Pilot office and then the Pilot office tries to transfer me back to them. When our account had a balance last year they had a quick deadline for us to get our money in but I guess it doesn’t matter when it’s the other way around!

Couldn't be more pleased with the customer service from the Pilot Mtn branch! Our heat pump died & we needed a residential tank set for our gas logs. These guys squeezed us in SAME-DAY to help us keep our house warm!

Each of our dealings with Nancy has been TERRIBLE. In all my years I have never dealt with a more rude, illmannered, discourteous person. Having to call and speak to her on the phone to place an order is atrocious. I have never spoken to a ruder person. How she still has a job there, or anywhere answering a phone, is hard to wrap your mind around. Her nasty attitude reflects HORRIBLY upon this company.

Upgraded my Moms monitor heater. They were very patient and helpful in explaining how to operate the unit. Todd always takes care of her with keeping her gas filled. Johnny was excellent in servicing the older unit and I’m sure this will continue. Thank you Gray for making my 89 year old mom happy and warm!

I have nothing but praise of all the employees who work at the Elkin G&B. They provide excellent customer service. Their team installed ventless gas logs at my home this winter. After the install we discovered that my wife got severe head aches so they worked with us to quickly replace them with a vented unit. This kind of service is above and beyond. Thank you to Gray and Chris just to name few.
