Dr. Lucas and Courtney were super informative and listened to and answered all our questions. They were also really nice to our puppy and gave us all the confidence to come back as our puppy's regular Vet. Thank you! ❤️

Kindest common sense caring individuals ever! I know my pet best so I really appreciated the Veterinarian here really listening to me. Walk in policy seems to work for them, not so much for me. Lol. Otherwise I would have given 5 *.

I am a veterinarian from Asheville, NC. While we're evacuating from Hurricane Helene our family dog developed a honking cough. After getting in late to EC we had a poor night's sleep with a honking dog in a hotel room. The next morning we had a walk-in appointment with Dr. Lucas. It was a relief to have kind and compassionate care while on the road. The staff was caring and were able to dispense medications for Beasley. We all slept much better that night with his coughing under control. Appreciate all that Pasquotank Animal Hospital did for us!

Dr. Lucas has been caring for my cat since she was a baby. He's warm and thoughtful and explains all procedures to full understanding. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Took Darla in and it was decided she needed surgery. She was worked in to a busy day. She has experienced no discomfort and really seems fine. Thank you so much staff and Dr Lucas!

Don’t take a protective/ guardian breed to this vet. The vet here treated my 3 month puppy cane corso like an untrainable dog that will hurt me (these words came from the vet himself). I never had a vet feel scared and threatened by a dog, especially a puppy. If I’m not scared of my cane corso barking then why is this vet. He was so scared the first thing he said was “do you want her to act that way” while looking like he wanted her dead. Why are you a vet if you don’t know how to handle ALL animal. If I’m not scared of my cane corso barking then why is this vet. I know I can train a cane corso, because this isn’t my first one and won’t be my last buddy. But clearly this vet can’t handle a dog barking. Too scared to even attempted take her temperature. Might I add she never left my side barking or not, but stay by me protecting me, like she should.

Friendly staff and vets. Reasonably fast. First come first served. I am happy with service and treatment for my cat. He is doing much better.

We brought our cat here because she was acting sick. She ended up needing an emergency surgery that she only had a 50% chance of surviving. Thanks to Dr.Lucas and Nurse Hannah (I believe her name was) our cat is doing great now post surgery! If we had brought her anywhere else I’m unsure she would’ve made it. Will be coming back
