So recently this ordeal happened at the post office, (sorry blurry pictures) first there was a tense miscommunication between what USPS national customer service misinformed me about what service(s) local post office provides , about a shipping/returns labels. Upon having to obtain one printed out myself . i come back to finish sending my package. It was nothing but under a minute after handing it to the clerk. That there was something on the label I needed to take note of. When I asked if I could see my package she literally with a toss, plopped it onto the counter. Police was called, It was inconsiderate and out of character. USPS withdrawn from investigating and ramification effectively. They even created some kind of fake email routing that this has been taken care of because. Like is that ?.

Had a package that was coming in from Amazon from less than a week ago. Checked my mailbox and found a USPS notice. They said there was an attempted delivery at 10:37 am. I was home all day. They said the package was oversized. The package contained 4 flower pots. It might have been oversized but it was super light. So I scanned the QR code and requested a re-delivery the following day. Nothing showed up.
A couple of questions I need answered from the Edenton post office. Why didn't the deliverer knock or ring my doorbell on the first delivery. And why didn't they honor the re-delivery request.
I don't judge a business on how well they perform daily. I judge them on how well they handle a problem

I sent a package it was to be delivered on Thursday. But since it was raining the carrier post they couldn't access address. Today the same carrier made it to the front door.

This place is horrible, the carriers have absolutely no respect when it comes to your packages. I have called several times complaining about their services, I have even spoken to them directly and they just don't care. They will leave your package on the ground when there are multiple mail boxes there so anyone can take it, they will lie and say you have animals out so they won't have to take it to your door. I even had them return my packages because they claim that my driveway wasn't accessible because it's a dirt path, even though it has crush rocks and we have no issues going home everyday down thesame path. They need to do better!

Absolutely horrible! My package said it was delivered to my address which it wasn’t, just to find out 3 days later when the post office finally got back in touch with me that it was delivered to a rundown shack that no one lives in and was just left sitting on the porch. They stated either the business or I messed up the shipping label which I have proof that is incorrect. They just can’t do their job which clearly is valid due to pretty much every other review of their office. Never got my package, never got a call back when they said I would be contacted the day they were sending a carrier out to see if it was still there. Bad look for the town. Hire people that can actually read shipping labels.

The worst service ever. Went in to send 2 packages to service family overseas. Clerk said credit card system not working. Ran out and grabbed cash. Came back to process the boxes and lady next to me used her credit card. Magically in the time that it took to run a block to get cash the credit card system started working again! My gut tells me that it wasn’t the computer it was my accent! I guess you need that sweet southern draw to be treated as a local!

People at that post office is lazy. The mail carriers do no respect the people mail. They deliver the mail when it is convenient for them . People spend money to have their mail or package delivered according to the delivery date. However, they totally ignore that date . I mailed a first class package and it has been over two weeks and it has still not been delivered. It was supposed to take five days!. I will definitely investigate this to the highest level! This town is Edenton. NC 27932

I worked at Edenton for a year in 2017-18. They are great people! Yes, mistakes happen, but the volume of mail and packages coming in was crazy. I'm a 29 year Navy vet and went back to working for the military as a defense contractor. But I will forever appreciate the USPS. Been there and done that, and am ashamed I never left a Christmas tip for our carrier until I "understood." If you're fussing about the mail, you simply don't understand the daily chaos.

Showed it arrived at this location. But never delivered. This was a very important letter. Never delivered to my address sent out on the 10th. Our mail service really sucks in arrowhead Beach. Parents say they haven't gotten mail in two damn days something is definitely wrong..

It doesn’t matter if you live in town or the country… EDENTON POST OFFICE SUCK!! I was awaiting a package that was supposed to be delivered on 6/10/23. Finally I get the message at 4:48 saying package delivered. It was SUPPOSED to be delivered to the front door but the text said it was delivered to my mailbox. I went to the mailbox and nothing was there. I’ve had this problem several times. Of course I have to wait until Monday to talk to someone but you don’t even want to call because they act like you’re bothering them when inquiring about items that YOU paid for!

Been waiting on 3 amazon packages that said they were all delivered to Edenton and I never got them. It's been a week after they were delivered and amazon had to resend all my items. . After looking at all the other reviews about this place. Im pretty sure someone that works there is stealing small packages because this also happen to my grandma. This needs to be handled.
