We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Unfortunately, they were restocking when we were there so that made it even harder to navigate the aisles. Staff was nice though and attempted to move so we could access what we needed. Overall a good experience.

There are 3 Food Lion stores in Elizabeth City,NC. I needed mushrooms for a recipe and had to drive 30 miles each way to Edenton, NC to get fresh mushrooms. It would be nice if at least one Elizabeth City Food Lion carried them! (I don't like or use canned mushrooms.) Gas is expensive. Choices are lovely!!! 5 stars are for Edenton store only! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff are helpful and courteous, except some of the stockers. It seemed they didn't want you to get by or ask a question or get the product that you need.

The only reason I come here is because I don’t have time to make it to Elizabeth city all the time. The store is cramped, always very crowded, the most basic items are very frequently out of stock and there is not a great selection of things. For being the only grocery store in town, it’s pretty sad.
