I’ve shopped at the store since I moved back to the area. My only complaint was that the store is always cluttered and it’s hard to tell what prices are listed for items. Other than that I’ve never had an issue until this past Sunday, where I was racially discriminated against by one of the employees. I Came into the store were there was only Person in front of me at the line paying for their items Shortly after a Caucasian male approaches the line Attempting to get in front of me, I was told that he would be served and that I would not be served at all because I did not come into the line the correct way!!! I’ve never felt entitled and I would’ve never passed anyone and I feel that it was unethical for The worker to allow this guy to pass me and to justify it by saying I did not come into the line the correct way mind you he wasn’t in line at all When I approached the line, this is ridiculous and they should not higher workers who are discriminatory and has Racial issues I wasn’t able to catch The name of the worker, but I will be sure to the next time I go in the store if I’m not Denied service.

The Dollar General Store that I frequent located at 1819 NC-135 Bldg 2, Eden, NC 27288 is usually always understaffed or one employee is checking out customers while another is either outside smoking or on the telephone. Heaven forbid you need help locating something in the store, the only answer you will receive is if it's not on the shelf they don't have it. Not even bothering to go and check. I could go on and on about how mismanaged that is, but you guys get the jist of it.

Dollar General does not seem to believe in having a Sales Associate available for it's customers.Even to check out, you have to usually use the self checkout, because there is no one available for service, (unless you holler for someone, which I don't mind doing.)The only reason for that is because most items are not priced so I'm never sure if I will actually purchase all the items my cart.And, of course, because of the employees being overloaded with their workload, and what is expected of them, they seem to be inconvenienced by the interruption by customers. This does become very apparent to us customers!I've seen it multiple times at multiple stores, it seems to be company wide.With all this being said, I have definitely downgraded my shopping trips frequency. It just is not worth it anymore. I had rather go through a little more trouble with parking, distance and crowds than feel like I am an inconvenience.Thank you for the opportunity to voice my observations.

I always enjoy going in and looking at all of the seasonal products, as well as other items. They actually have a whole lot of good items, and being at discounted prices, you can save money by shopping. They offer a receipt every time that says you can save 5$ every Saturday when you spend $25 or more.. very friendly staff.. for example i was finding hair dye for my gf, as you can see they have allot to choose from.

Horrible cashiers, no wonder the public has a hard time respecting you guys. Can never walk in that store either and have the stock in the U-boats blocking the isle.

THIS IS THE WORST DG YOU CAN EVER GO To!!! I lived across from this one and the associates are rude all but one sweet young woman. We was in there all the time and they tried to tell my bf he couldn’t bring in our reusable bags he had to leave them at the register. I had already been shopping and I told them that was absurd! I dropped everything and left! They never have anything stocked! They’re always closing 30-45 minutes early! We left our card at home which is across from them and we said we’d be back in 3 minutes. We wasn’t gone but 2 minutes and they locked the door and put our items back and this was 30 minutes before closing. This store needs a big reboot! I love dollar general and this store is a disgrace..

Guess the employee today wasn't feeling it , She was extremely rude and acted like we were bothering her. Don't have to worry about us anymore dollar generals are on every corner.
