“Such a special place! I was in Durham for work and stopped by on a whim. My favorite shopping experience is one where you can talk to someone super smart and stylish who will talk you down from all your neuroses. On that front, V&V delivers! Everything they stock is beautiful and well made, and the women who work here are consummate pros who will take you, your concerns and your taste seriously. I had the best time talking to Nia, trying on pieces she picked out for me, and getting some stylist assists from Stephanie. One of their regular customers even helped close a deal by walking in wearing a great pair of jeans (tried them on + bought my own on the spot.) 10/10 retail experience.”

“I HATE shopping, but Ariel at MODE makes it fun and takes the guesswork out of it for me. She's the reason I went to MODE today to shop for a lifestyle photo shoot coming up for my business, and I had no idea what to wear. Ariel understood the assignment. She picked clothes that I wouldn't have, but her style is better than mine. Protip from Ariel, try on everything you like, despite what the manufacturer's tagged size is. I bought clothes from size small to large and size 8-12. Ariel was there to tell me if something fit well or didn't. I've always just tried on what I thought my size was. Who knew! I ended up buying more clothes than I had planned to because she made the experience painless.”
“I was getting incredibly frustrated with finding a decent pair of jeans and after trying a few stores at the mall, I was about to give up! I decided to give Lucky Brand a try before I went home and I’m glad I did. Dionne welcomed me into the store right away and offered to help me find what I was looking for. She was very friendly, inviting, and knew what she was doing. The process of trying on jeans can be overwhelming, but it wasn’t here. It was easy and fun! I highly recommend shopping here, especially when Dionne is working. I will be back.”

“Wide selection of rare items. My wife loves the Fulani earrings. Artist are actually there selling their art during shows. Ask for Hakim by name he is always helpful and he can look at a face and see challenges far in advance in time to keep things in check. They have a line of deodorant that does not hurt my sensitive skin. There is even a knowledgeable notary public there or on call just a few minutes away.Some of my favorite items are the hand bound journals the bamboo spears and staffs with the crystal or glass tips.My wife loves the henna artist that can come to the store and create henna works of art that are breathtaking.The unique collection of books like "Fatina and the gold Adornments" by S.M. Sheikh.Then, there is the jewelry. One of a kind artisan made pieces that stand out in a crowd. The bags like the over the shoulder denim two tone blue bag put such a smile on one customers face I had to take a picture. ? Exotique is one of thoses stores that you have to visit several times a year to get the full breathe of the items that are constantly brought up and replaced with a seemingly endless supply of eclectic gems from over 40 local artists from around the world. Where else are you going to find a Nnenna Freelon's grammy nominated cd selling next to an 8 year olds first commissioned very beautiful art "two dogs". I took pictures but go see for yourself and let me know if I am off even a little bit.”

“I had a great experience with this Windsor! Caitlyn was amazing. Both attendees (Tyla & Caitlyn) were amazing with helping me. Both were prepping the store but they never stopped checking on me. Made themselves available. Was able to chat and get what I needed for an awards ceremony. Their stock was in season. The store was clean and organized. GREAT JOB LADIES!!! I’ll be back!”

They even offered me a credit card, which I quickly declined. However, they gave me coupons and emailed more before I arrived home! They are SERIOUS about their promotions!”
“About 5 years ago I bought two pair of black Trekkie cargo pants for travel. These are a slim fit and very flattering. Now that they are getting on in years, I wanted to replace them in September for planned travel. I couldn’t find the exact style; I tried on at least a dozen pair of slacks. The sales people Chrissy and Melissa couldn’t have been more helpful even though I was focused on the exact pants and was grouchy at trying to find the proper fit. Went home with two pair, but just was not thrilled with them. I came into the store to return them and lo and behold the Trekkie pants are being manufactured again. I’m branching out and bought navy, dark green and 2 black. I love these for travel. I am confident that these will hold up just as well as the last two pair. I’m anticipating a two week trip to Europe in the spring. I will say that having the Athleta app and a record of the transactions make things much easier for the return so definitely do that especially if you buy things online. The Southpoint store is usually well staffed and the sales people are very helpful. Thank you Athleta for bringing back my favorite slacks”

“My sister and I had the best shopping experience in this Talbots with the sales clerk, Michelle. I hate shopping for clothes, but Michelle was so helpful with assisting me find clothes and different ways to style them, that for the first time I enjoyed trying things on. We had so much fun! To our surprise, Michelle sent my sister a thank you card in the mail. I'm telling you, Michelle went above and beyond!! I'm in the service industry and we just had a training, and I used her as an example of the highest quality service experience I have ever had. Talbots, give this woman a raise. For the rest of you, ask for Michelle!!!”

“Feel very compelled to write a review about my experience about three weeks ago at this location. I went on a Saturday and the store was packed with customers. There were employees to match! Each and every last employee I encountered was so helpful and really went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. This was my first time ever in an Anthropologie store, and it far exceeded my expectations. There was one employee who really stood out to me and I unfortunately cannot recall her name. She was dressed to the absolute nines and just as beautiful to match! (Jean skirt and a natural styled fedora hat) She was engaging and let me know a few times that she was available for any assistance I needed. It was not overwhelming, but just right. The ladies at the dressing rooms were a pleasure as well. I recently found out online that they offer styling sessions, and it makes sense as every employee was dressed well. I will most certainly be back.”

“Brandi and Amanda were super helpful and made me feel welcome. As a 5'10" plus-size of generally 2X-3X, I rarely visit stores anymore, as it's difficult to find clothes that fit me. After having too many dressing room cry-outs, I completely stopped looking for clothes in stores. Francesca's does not carry any size larger than XL in-store, which meant wanting beautiful clothes but having to stick to earrings and accessories. Brandi and Amanda encouraged me to look online for larger sizes, didn't judge me for the tall and broad size that I am, and made me *feel* seen and heard with their honest and kind conversation. I will check out the online shop and appreciate their guidance.”
