The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The workers are unhelpful and rude. CVS for me from now on.

It is extremely frustrating to go to a store that is marketed to be open until 10pm and had a paper taped to the door with the holiday schedule stating the store was open until 10PM to be refused entry at 9:45PM. We arrived at 9:45PM to find the doors locked although there was still at least one customer still shopping in the store. The employee then proceeded to shake his head "no" at us waiting at the door and couldn't even speak to us to tell us some reason for the store closing early. We then called the store and was told by the employee that they "are trying to close up" although again, has a paper taped on the door that they are open until 10pm.

Horrible service the manager on 8/31/23 at 7:45 pm did not help me in any way told me the Western Union was not working I thought I already put it in the system Western Union shuts down at 9 o’clock. I had no money to feed my kids. It was emergency to pick up and they sat there and laugh and told me to go to another Walgreens.

I have been a medical provider for over 10 years and I have never been treated so rudely when trying to get a prescription filled for one of my clients. Actually, maybe two clients. The last time I was hung up on. I do not recommend this pharmacy because they are difficult to work with and do not know how to use coupons to decrease medication prices.

At the Walgreens at 3793 Guess road, 4 times now, probably many more, but only 4 that have directly affected my health, their pharmacy has just been closed out of the blue, during hours they're listed as open. I'm on two medication I can't do without even one day, yet I've been forced to by them, because of their casual, oh we're open, or maybe we're not open, attitude. More frustrating is the fact that they take zero responsibly for being closed when we've been told by them, we'll be open. It's beyond an unprofessional way of keeping hours for a pharmacy. When I called this morning to get it refilled, they said it would be ready later today. However, they knew at that time, they were going to close 3 hours earlier than their normal hours, but they didn't think it inform me of that fact. I showed up directly after work, and oops closed, too bad. Pharmacies are in control of too many aspects of our health for this to be acceptable. if you hire pharmacists who can't work the hours you've hired them to work, get new one's or don't call yourself a pharmacy. You put people's wellbeing at risk. Even my UNC doctors have advised me to switch pharmacies due to the many problems. The one bright spot in all this, was a manager named Pamela, who I spoke to on the phone when I got home, she cared, listened to my concerns, called another Walgreens to see if she could get it filled there, called me back but couldn't get it transferred, no fault of her own, she's a gem.

The credit card machine is unbelievably slow and Aries is quite a rude little broad of a cashier. Reviews for Walgreens lately and even at this location should be a reflection of who they should and shouldn’t hire for something as basic as a cashier.Day shift has more reasonable staff it seems.Just go somewhere else in the evening because these kids aren’t trying to care about customer service skills in any job someone somehow decides to hire them for which is a common epidemic and employers are obviously very desperate because it shows and that’s not good for business anywhere. Cerebral fortitude and maturity just doesn’t exist much if at all with that age demographic (under 25).Just go elsewhere that your business is appreciated or visit here before 2pm.Problem solved.

I made an appointment for my second COVID booster on their website. (This only took thirty minutes and two tries, because they sent you what looks like a confirmation screen, but you have to scroll down and confirm before you actually have an appointment.) I arrived on time and, by some miracle, there was no one at the pharmacy. I stated that I had an appointment at 5:15, and was immediately called a liar by the pharmacist. I showed confirmation text and the other pharmacy worker was able, with the help of my insurance card, Medicare card, and my COVID vax card finally get me a shot. All the while, the pharmacist buzzed around like an angry bee, constantly asking her snippy questions while she and I had reached an understanding that we were going to work through this, despite the website "allowing" me this "unoffered" time slot. I filled in the paper version of the form I had filled in online "to save you time when you come in for your vaccination", and in about five minutes a nice nurse came and gave me the injection and I was done. I feel sorry for the two ladies I worked with, if what I saw was an indication of what they have to deal with on a daily basis. You shouldn't be in a helping profession if all you want to do is prove someone wrong. They both had great patience and people skills. Sadly, they are not rubbing off on their boss.

Exceedingly long wait times. Poor staff communication. Would recommend you find another pharmacy to get vaccines or pick up prescriptions.I scheduled a 12:30pm appointment on a Saturday, showing up 15 minutes early to check in as instructed. I was told to sit and wait to be called. I waited for over an hour, asking the front desk twice in the interim about the delay with no explanation. Was finally informed at 1:30 (1 hour after my appointment time) that no one had started on my paperwork and it would be over an hour until I could be seen. That added up to a a grand total of 2 hours from appointment start to being seen.Extremely poor communication and performance from the staff. I understand that a pharmacy can be busy and Walgreen's is likely not providing enough staff. But the staff that was there did absolutely nothing to explain the problem and do not appear to care about the experieince their patients have. They offered no explanation, apology, or empathy for the situation. Poor management. Terrible communication from the staff. If you need something done efficiently, look elsewhere.
