Do NOT come here for help with your passport. The woman working there is so rude. I asked for simple help and got nothing but a horrible attitude and she treated me like a was an idiot.

Gorgeous. Reminiscent of times past (bad, and good). You can smell the history.

I’m convinced all the negative reviews about passport services are people not showing up prepared or not doing research ahead of time. I completed my application prior to coming in and was seen at my exact appointment time. Was out of there in under 15min, no problems at all. Each appointment is only 15min and only for one person, so of course they can’t do your whole family in one appointment.

Had an appointment to get passports for kids. Lady didn’t greet us. Told us to move against the wall “so people could access their mail.” Not one person was in there nor came in the 30 minutes we were there. I went to go grab checkbook right outside. “You can’t leave.” I said I’d be 30 secs. No. This lady has a power trip like few I’ve seen. Just beware because she’ll make your time suck.

Yes, the woman who processes the passport applications is ludicrously curt and unhelpful. Here’s what you need to know about walk in applications:Walk in hours: 245-445 on Tuesday ; 245-345 FridaysThey only take 8 walk in appointments on Tuesday and 4 on FridaysFor walk ins, you must sign up for a time slot. The sign up form is on the easel as you walk in the east entranceIf the passport window is locked up during walk in hours, go to the postal window nearest the passport window.Have relevant forms filled out completely prior to arrival (she literally turned us away once because our printer didn’t print well enough and she didn’t allow us time to fill out the forms there)The bahama office is much better apparently for walk ins, so try there first.

The lady that works there for the passport appointment is absolutely terrible, rude and extremely condescending. If someone knows how to file a complaint please let me know. Find another place to book your passport appointment!!

Why is this place closed 10 minutes before 5:00pm. Where is the Supervisor. And if the Supervisor isn’t doing his job, where is the General manager. 5 o’clock is 5 o’clock. This ain’t no pícnic……this is work.

I just came for a stamp and to mail an envelope. Cool building. Doesn’t seem to have full functions / displays as another post office might due to the counter set up still being the historic style. Counter seems to only have space for one customer service station (1 worker) so you may be in line for a bit. I recommend coming early. Friendly staff member, though, and convenient location.

In actuality I should probably give five stars instead for the level of attitude, hostility and lack of helpfulness, fully owned and unwaveringly displayed, by clerk 'Ms. Essential' (name tag name of the lady who works the passport window and who provides equally 'sunny' auxiliary service to those waiting in the to mail line). She's a veteran at this branch (talking years) but on the positive side one could say her predictably chipper demeanor (careful; irony anvil dropping fast) has been a dependable beacon of stability in these otherwise unsettling times.Today's episode involved Ms. Essential refusing to ship an item that was in a completely blacked out (all traces of red and blue, the similar colored lines, everything) priority mail envelope for anything else but the priority mail rate. After saying thanks but no thanks I trundled over to the nearby Kangaroo Court P.O. and sent the book that was inside at the correct Media Mail rate with no issues.Ms. Essential obviously traded in her real name (more than once?) as an attempt to hide her identity and keep people confused. Is that even legal in the USPS? So many questions. My own experiences are also mirrored by the numerous other negative reviews/experiences posted here relating to her. In any case she can't be missed; the always curt, rapidly spilling over into angry/borderline abusive attitude stands out like a bright beacon of negativity on the Rock Of Gibraltar. Be careful folks; that level of bitterness causes cancer.

The phone rings off the hook and no one answers. Is it too much for the PO to have someone to answer the phone.

May 2023 by Alvaro Quintana
Terrible. Like all of them. Employees cannot answer anything because it is above and beyond their pay grade, so not answers for anything. Like always, they cancel passport appointments without notification.

I don't usually write reviews but I want to warn people about this location. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PASSPORT SERVICES. I had the worst customer service experience of my life trying to get my baby's passport. The lady was so rude, condescending, and abusive that I literally left in tears. Every person in line said she had treated them the same way, refusing to answer any questions and just cancelling people's appointments without cause. I really don't understand how someone like this can work in a customer facing job.

Horrible experience, the lady who was attending us at renewing our passports was incredibly rude. She definitely needs to get humbled.
