It’s an old country store that’s been around since the 60s so of course it’s kind of “set in its ways” but I guarantee you that it is a quick in and out if you need drinks or cigarettes or maybe a quick candy bar although the selection isn’t as grand as some of the commercial businesses as this is a family owned store and they have to outsource their own products-They used to sell gas back many years ago but from 18 wheelers pulling into the parking lot put so much pressure on the ground overtime that it caused problems with the gas tanks underground and they eventually had to be removed!Overall it’s a good little store! Friendly people that work there as well as the manager is a nice Mother!

I called Saturday evening at 7:23pm to ask what time they closed because we were going fishing very early Sunday morning. She said 7pm so I asked what time they'd be open the following morning. She said 11am. She also related she was driving home so I assumed the store number listed on Google must be her cell phone. She asked, "What'd you need, honey?" And I told her we needed minnows and night-crawlers for fishing. She said, "Well, what time do you need them, and we can meet you over there in the morning? We're just a small country store, and we only live 5 min away." I told her 6:30am would be ideal if she could. She said that it would be fine. She asked how many minnows I needed, and I told her I'd need to check and call her right back. I found out and called back within 3 minutes. She didn't answer. The voicemail box was full so I left a text instead. She never replied. We stopped at the store on Sunday morning on our way to the fishing hole, and no one was there. We waited for 15min, and then I called her. She had obviously been asleep from the sound of her voice, and I said, "Good morning. I'm the one who called about the minnows last night..." and she hung up on me mid-sentence. We had to go fishing with plastic bait. No one caught anything... not even a bite. I'll never shop here again. If you don't want to do something for someone, don't offer, and if you change your mind after offering, be decent enough to say so.
