This store is currently supporting a charity for diabetes. I got into an interesting, and rather unpleasant discussion with one of the employees about the differences between the two major types of diabetes: Type 1 diabetes (formerly referred to as childhood diabetes - this term is medically outdated) and Type 2 diabetes. Primarily differentiating the two is the cause; T1D is an autoimmune disorder where your body attacks the native pancreatic beta cells that produce insulin. The body uses insulin to uptake glucose from the bloodstream and store it in your cells! Individuals with T1D DO NOT have the ability to intrinsically produce insulin, therefore people with T1D WILL be insulin dependent. Type 2 diabetes is caused by the overuse or inefficiency of the pancreas resulting in insufficient production of insulin from the beta cells (also known as islet of langerhans). These individuals MAY need insulin, though T2D can be managed with oral medications. I care very much about this cause and hope this can help someone learn more about diabetes!Thank you to the cashier today who was very kind. I did not catch her name. Register 1 with a black sweatshirt.

Very rude cashier! Today I went to tjmax the one at oak creek village shopping center in Durham NC .There is cashier lady was absolutely rude. While I was waiting in line, I been watching how she was working very unhappily. Unfortunately she called me to her register. Then she was trying to scanning the items , Some how she told me that her register wasn’t working, she wants me to move to another register. Which is perfectly fine. So I nicely asked her which one she wants me to move to? Then she started staring at me and with very rude body language said to me “can you wait? How I know which one?” Which was very rude! Then I felt offended. I said to her if she is not happy with her job , she should figure out something else !I came here for shopping not for watching her attitudes! Obviously she is not happy with her job! Even though she should be professional! Then the manager came asked what happened, did apologize to me. The cashier still thinking she did nothing wrong! The one of the reason I want to leave this review is, There was an very old gentleman at register one which we were at register eight, he doesn’t even know what is going on ,he didn’t even hear what the cashier said. He trying to make judgement by saying I was the one bitching. The cashier didn’t say anything. I wish he can be able to see this review , if you don’t know what is going on, don’t make judgement.

Good quality but quite high prices. This is what my daughter, who I was there with, says.

T.J.Maxx at Oakcreek Village is fantastic!!! The store has everything and anything you might need or didn't know you needed, from home yoga equipment to hats to fanny packs to earrings to kitchenware to shoes to bags to suitcases to dresses, etc. It is a clean and beautiful store with friendly staff. I have gotten many pairs of leggings and a fanny pack there! Almost every time I walk in I walk out having bought something - today it was a beautiful business top (even the cashier said it was pretty!). The staff are friendly and warm! They are always close by / around so you can easily find them and they can help you locate items.T.J.Maxx is always well-stocked and has a large variety of unique finds, so every store visit is like a treasure hunting experience. I also feel like I'm getting great deals and bargains when I shop there because they sell quality items that last me a long time and at great prices. T.J. Maxx is also located at a prime location at Oakcreek Village, which is a beautiful shopping / dining plaza with a mix of national retailers, contemporary brands, and distinctive shops and dining. I would highly recommend shopping at T.J. Maxx!!!

This is my local TJ Maxx. I go here for cheaper products from the brands I already love. I mostly shop the skincare and haircare and body care aisle. Some larger retailers I see brands from here would be Sephora or Ulta. The specific skincare brands I frequent here are: first aid beauty, cosrx, belif, Elizabeth Arden, the Inkey list. Some makeup brands here are Mac, nars, milk makeup, morphe, stila cosmetics. It's also a great place to stock up on nicer quality basics. I've seen a ton of Calvin Klein and Nautica underwear for example. The food aisle might be a little strange, but I have found great stuff like the Torani coffee syrups.

African American woman working closing shift on 7/25 was awful. Doesn’t seem to be familiar with return policy…. Horrible off putting attitude. Cashier code given on receipt is 1197. Do better.

Typical TJ Maxx store, which is great. However, I find some can be in need of some tidying up. That was not the case here. Employees were restocking shelves, items were neat & organized. As I walked through the store, employees said hello/good morning (not typical!).Overall, a great place to shop.

Pretty well stocked but not much to choose from for mature women. My 86 year old aunt didn't care for the length of the dresses.
