Our little one started when he was 10 weeks old and has absolutely thrived at TLE. He began sleeping through the night within days of starting and has been eating and napping so much better since Mrs. Janet worked her magic to get him on a schedule. We get photos of him doing tummy time and interacting throughout the day. The facility is always clean, the administration is professional, and the teachers are warm and welcoming. We cannot say enough great things about TLE Durham. It is an added bonus that there is a Duke Benefit.10/10 recommend.

My daughter has been at The Learning Experience for a year now since starting at age 5 months. We’ve had a wonderful experience with her teachers and the support staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they truly love on my daughter every day. She’s built strong connections with her teachers, especially Ms. Tasheika and Brenda. Thank you TLE!

They will not tell you if they have openings until you do a tour. There is no point in wasting time to do tours when they potentially do not have room for your child. You definitely should not bring a child to visit a classroom that they may not able to attend. It’s unproductive an insensitive. Find a facility that values the parents and the children’s time and emotional connections.

My daughter just started going here and to be honest we were scared of daycare for her due to being first time parents and he being a preemie. What made us stay with this school is the fact while doing the tour and orientation she went right to the teachers and she never does this. My fiancée and I felt safe and secure with that. We can’t wait to see her grow within the next 5 years

I am sensitive to the challenges our educators and childcare providers are still experiencing since the pandemic. However, my biggest concerns could have been avoided in my opinion and I hate that this short stint with TLE didn't workout because it's yet another transition for my daughter in such a short time.I'd toured TLE twice over a year between tours and feel in love both times with the promises of communication via the app, structured learning for the kids and the aesthetic is amazing! Very kid friendly and welcoming. However, after enrolling the delivery of the promises were not there. My advice as I said to a member of the Administration staff; set realistic expectations for parents especially if you're facing staffing challenges. Parents value honesty and transparency above the fluff. Beyond the lack of content on the app another concern was theclassroom transitioning and ratio concerns. My child's class was out of ratio more times than I wished because they constantly transitioned children into my child's classroom w/o transitioning an appropriate amount OUT of the classroom at least during the times I was there. Or she'd be sent to another classroom without any warning to us to help prepare kids who don't handle transition well.My biggest concern and ultimate reason why i removed her arose about a month ago when my daughter began demonstrating abnormal behaviors and aggression solely at TLE. Administration poorly handled the situation (specifically the director). The focus/report was always on how my daughter was responding or behaving and never a follow through on the requests to sit down and try to figure out what suddenly changed to have her supposedly hitting kids and throwing tantrums all day unprovoked. I am not in denial nor do I make excuses for my child but to ONLY demonstrate this behavior at TLE and to not have demonstrated a single tantrum or act of aggression since ; speaks to something that happened at that center but unfortunately I'll never know. If it had been from the start of her time there I could understand but to suddenly begin just leads to believe something happened and again nothing came of my requests to meet with the teacher and director. The ONLY conversation of merit was with Mrs. Sharon (thank you again for that) after I decided to remove her but unfortunately that conversation happened 3 weeks too late. I am not discouraging anyone from enrolling but I am saying that accountability and better efforts need to be made going forward! Period. Wish you all the best but I stand on my low rating simply because I feel this entire situation was handled poorly and its disappointing and disheartening to say the least.

Our children have been attending TLE NC 55 for almost 5 yrs (the older) and 3 (the younger). They love this place; they have many friends there, and every morning they would be looking forward to going to TLE. The teachers and administration are friendly, and we are sure, they do a great job in teaching and taking care of our kids. We highly recommend this TLE Center!!

Our daughter spent 2 wonderful years at TLE, and while we are excited for her to move on to grade school, our family will dearly miss this school! The entire staff and group of teachers feel more like a family than a faculty, and it was always a pleasure getting to interact with them during pick up or drop off. Every day, our daughter was excited to tell us about all the cool new things they learned or did, and you could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed it as much as the kids! From a parental side, the TLE team was great about always staying in contact to share updates on what the kids are doing or learning each day, as well as sending them home with assignments to keep progressing. This is not just a "day care", it is truly a school with a full and robust curriculum. We have no doubt that our daughter will be ahead of the curve going into Kindergarten, thanks to TLE.TLE also made sure that children learned how to behave and interact with each other, and we frequently get comments outside of school about how well behaved and polite our daughter is.We cannot recommend TLE enough to any parent looking for a great Pre-K school for their child! And we cannot thank the entire staff and team at TLE enough for all that they did for our family! We will miss them dearly!

I love this daycare for my granddaughter Morgan... The staff is very professional and very supportive of these children. Ms.Vee always go the extra mile and do not have to. I recommend The Learning Experience to all parents who are looking for a safe, professional, loving staff to trust with their child/children... I am so grateful we don’t have to worry about Morgan’s well being throughout the day bc we know she’s safe... It’s a blessing... so thankful my daughter found The Learning Experience. Best daycare ever?

Called this place more than 3 times. Applied in person and went up there. Was told they would call me to collect my card information for childcare deposit. No one called or called me back after attempting several times to give them my business. Well I’ve found more reliable and better quality childcare for my kids. If you don’t have customer service skills, please get out of this business. Front staff and Director seems unprepared all the time.

Two times now my nephew has been given milk/dairy when he clearly has paperwork stating that he is allergic. Each time it is blamed on a new employee, no excuses! Very unprofessional and not to mention dangerous! If anyone has any advice please reach out to me.
