In 25 years we have hire 5 other movers. Our last move was done by Taylor’s moving. They are the best we ever had. They don’t stop working!! Show up on time got done in 7 hours. We thought it would be a 12 hour day for the move. They take care of your stuff you don’t have to do anything. They were all super nice. And the price was great. Use them there the best!!!

I hired Taylor’s Moving for a move from Raleigh to Durham a couple months ago. The great service started with the sweet lady on the phone who got everything scheduled. The owner came by my place prior to the move to give me a quote as they charge by the job, not by the hour. I was given tips on how to pack to make the move as seamless as possible. He was SO kind and genuine and offered a very fair price. On moving day, there was a crew of a few gentleman and I was in awe of how efficient they were while taking great care of my belongings. They placed furniture exactly where I wanted, even moving things around when I changed my mind. Things that were taken apart like my dining table was put back together with care. The service was fast, friendly and professional. I cannot recommend them enough!

Taylor and another foreigner were really neat at work. They didn't talk much, so Kaka started to help move! I also had a little more stuff than I originally told him, but they helped me move it within the estimated time. It also does a good job of protecting the furniture from scratches and damage, which I didn't expect at all. They would even tie up the keel of the bed frame and make everything neat. If I need to move next time, I will definitely come back to them. I highly recommend them! ! !

Moving with Taylor's Moving Company was an incredibly positive experience. They arrived with a crew that worked smoothly and professionally (on two of the hottest days of the summer). We where packed up one day and moved 170 miles the next day. I would 100% recommend this company and their crew.

Very pleased with my whole experience with Taylor's Moving Company. Communication with booking a moving date went very smoothly. The office staff was friendly and easy to reach. When the moving date arrived, the movers all showed up on time, were clean, friendly, professional and very respectful handling my items. I highly recommend using Taylor's Moving Company.

They got things moved, intact, from one house to another. They were cheerful, courteous, respectful of each other, and the property owners. There was no swearing or foul language. There was no smoking on the owner's property. We were very grateful.

They helped me move in May, and I'll be using them for my future moves! They came out with 5 people, and took care of everything quickly. I liked that the payment scheme is by job (they sent someone out to give me a quote the day after I called), not by hour. They also took some of my furniture for donation.

A professional, efficient, quality move was only the beginning. That family treated us like we were their family. They know from their decades of experience that a move is way more than just getting things from point A to point B. They do an excellent job of that, but do so much more. They understand that if someone is moving that they are going through a life change, whether it be big or small. They understand that there is a heightened emotion that comes with the experience for the person moving. They are polite, very patient, and just plain sweet. In our particular situation, they had a customer who is not easily pleased, but said that she had never been treated better. We don’t want to use any other moving company… Ever… No matter where we are!

This is a local business that has been around for 30 years. All the employees were very professional. I was happy to see that they all had shirts with their names on them because they were regular employees of the business not the day-workers some Moving companies use. They were very prompt, responsive and helpful in every way. Dropped off boxes and wrapping paper ahead of time and then came back to pick everything up after we had unpacked. I highly recommend them!

Working with Taylor’s Moving of Durham was indeed a pleasure. Starting with the quick quote by Dwayne Taylor, the immediate follow up from the office, to Dwayne contacting us a week before the move to suggest a more palatable packing schedule, we were impressed. When six strong, kind, thoughtful and friendly movers descended on us, we were bordering on overwhelmed. But they had it all under control. From boxing up kitchen ware, packing the wardrobes, wrapping all the furniture, and emptying our garage and storage rooms, they were true professionals. My husband and I are grateful for the excellent work on both ends - they UNpacked almost everything they had packed, AND removed the detritus making the rest of week ONE manageable. Finally, their bid was competitive and they guarantee their price…NO SURPRISES!! Thank you to the Taylor family and their team!!

We used Taylor moving for a move last month and they did a great job. On time, communicative, and careful. We enjoyed working with the entire team as they unpacked the two trucks for our cross-town move. Everything was done with care and a friendly attitude. Dwayne Taylor was our main contact and he did a great job. We had a few items we didn't need any more and they took them to donate to the church, which was a wonderful addition and very helpful in trying to merge two households. Definitely recommended.

We recently moved from Durham to Clayton NC, about 50 miles away into a 4 BR house. I have never experienced a move before where there was no advance contract or paperwork, until Taylor's.Dwayne Taylor came out, reviewed our belongings and gave us a flat-rate quote. We had already reserved the date by phone in advance, and they had much better availability than others I called. There was no additional confirmation needed.The day of the move, they showed up in their own truck on time with 5 people. They were very polite, courteous and easy to work with. Furniture was wrapped in moving blankets and plastic and handled with care. The truck and a second car followed us to the new location. The move went very quickly including reassembling beds and items at the new house. A move like this would normally take the whole day with many other companies, but with Taylor's we were finished in half the time. Bottom line is they gave a fair price, were on time, handled our items with care, were so fast we couldn't believe how quickly we were done. They did what they promised and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, they would actually be my first call. Go Birds!
