I was slightly annoyed to see the self-check out has been changed to less than ten items, but I was willing to cooperate and saw only 3 check-out lanes had their lights on.I pulled up to the number 10 check out-lane as the associate was finishing with another customer. I immediately felt unwelcome as she froze and stared ahead, as I placed a few items on the conveyor belt. I spoke up and asked if she still was open, she kept staring ahead, nodded yes, but then shut off her light.Since she was making it apparent she had an attitude, I decided not to risk having my produce being handled by someone I made angry.I took my items off the belt and went to the number 11 check-out that still had it’s light on. This associate was at least polite enough to inform me with eye contact that she was closed as well. Finally I got to the check-out at the number 12, and was grateful that someone was willing to actually take my money.I’m pregnant and have worked in retail for 20 years, and know I didn’t deserve to be treated like an inconvenience at the number 10 check-out lane. I’m deleting my baby registry with Target, and will make sure the number of items I purchase in the future will stay limited to ten. It's ridiculous that there was only one lane open at 7 pm, with new self check-out protocol. I did at least appreciate the only person who was willing to ring me up.

Worst customer service. Had no one to ring up people and the self check out lines is crazy. When Someone finally open up a lane and had an attitude the whole time with the person infront of me and when it was my turn it was no better. Her register wasn’t working to take payment with card or Apple Pay asked to ring me somewhere else or I could I got it customer service, took me to another register and still wasn’t working and had an attitude with me like it was my fault and said she couldn’t help, I asked to go to customer service and ended up going to customer service not even 5 seconds and I was Apple to pay while she had an attitude and wasted my time for at least 10 minutes telling me it was my bank or my cards having issues, I tried using multiple cards and it wasn’t working and I told her I highly doubt it that 4 major banks are all having issues at the same time right now.

This target is great for getting most of what you need but unfortunately the staff here are not as great. I chose to do in-store pickup at this location and found myself waiting for 5 minutes while 6 of the staff at the counter were in conversation (not about work related things). I've worked in service before and thought maybe this wasn't any of their current jobs but where 1 or 2 of them were placed and others were hanging out, but after 5 minutes one of them asked if I was ready and they laughed and said "damn we should be doing our jobs." Not a great time lol.

This is my favorite target!! It gets pretty crowded, but they always have what I need. Everything is neat and organized, and the groceries are pretty reasonably priced even though Target can be known for being on the more expensive side. I like that the self checkout is 10 items or less, it makes it go by much faster and is great for a quick trip in and out. I also use the drive up service all the time, which is super convenient. Also, it's in a great shopping center near Home Goods and Michael's and a few good food places. Great for a quick shopping day.

Maternity section is only 10 by 15 feet and has been picked through so it looks like a sloppy garage sale. Will sell you an overpriced stroller but can't be bothered to support pregnant women who prefer to try something on store. Target, where's your inclusivity for us too? Cater to one and not the other..

Target located in Renaissance Village shopping Center at 8210 Renaissance Pkwy, Durham, NC 27713 is a very nicely laid out Target with a quite large Grocery store section with dairy a plenty. The store was clean and well organized. Didn’t seem to me to be as much of a maze as some targets are where it’s really easy to get disoriented due to the walls blocking areas from each other.A big issue I have with them though is only having a single in person register open combined with a 10 item max self checkout limit.I don’t use self checkout as it’s not my job to check myself out, and it costs them employees!!! Lost a star for that

This is my most frequented and favorite Target. I am incredibly frustrated that management decided to convert self-checkout to 10 items or less. I stood in line for 10 minutes this morning while self checkout had open registers. You could at least properly staff the other registers. Having only 2 cashiers available is unfair to your customers and your staff. From what I understand, this decision was made based off of customer complaints. Since management is clearly reactive to feedback, you can bet I will be providing this feedback as frequently as possible.Additionally, I would've loved to have given this feedback directly to the store manager but no one ever picks up the phone at this store. Do better.

Just wanted to say to a young man in pickup orders or whatever they are called whenever they pick the items for guestsNo matter what day I come in you always ask me how I am no matter how busy I am. Also you seem like a very nice young man and very fast. I enjoy your laugh. It’s loud but a joy.I think your name starts with a N. I will have to check the next time I see you.Hope this review is seen by him.Take careMr. Yates

All the jeans were unfolded and strewn all over the place and in no particular order. It was almost impossible to find anything in my size. Then, the fitting rooms were closed and roped off, so I couldn't try anything on in there. Luckily I was wearing a dress, so I just stood between two racks near the fitting rooms and tried the pants on right there. I was able to find one pair in my size. The leggings in the activewear section were in the same condition. I looked through everything as best as I could and I was only able to find one pair in a size large that wasn't black or flared at the bottom. This is the first time I have been in any Target that was in the level of disarray.

I love Target. Its my go to because they are clean, neat and friendly. I order online about once a week to prevent from spending my whole check there. But I've noticed that if you order online and pick Drive up at the Renaissance pkwy Target they leave you waiting a while. If you want a shorter wait time order drive up at the other durham location on chapel hill blvd. Ive made this mistake for the last time. Don't think if you let them know before hand it will be any faster. Currently been waiting 30 minutes. Not a soul in sight.

Amazing service. Clean store. Has the best variety of products, especially compared to other stores in the Triangle. Terrible wait times. All the lines (self checkout and assisted checkout) are long at all times of the day! However, I gave this store 5 stars because this just started limiting self checkout to 10 items yesterday, which will impact wait times. I’m glad!

Waiting for Target to do better with clothing & shoe selections, move up with their designer collections; want a little more selections for organic foods, esp on the shelves

Found a bookshelf I’d been looking for for a great price and while I was in line to checkout an employee told me about the college student discount and helped me get my target app setup. Made my day !!
