Exceptional pharmacy! Prasanna is knowledgeable, kind, his prices are competitive and his service is outstanding. We drive from Carrboro to Durham because we like him so much! My husband once said that finding Prasanna was the second best thing I ever did (having our child was the best thing). Prasanna doesn't just greet his clients by name - he remembers details. Just last week for example I brought my father in for vaccines. I'd signed him up to receive flu and RSV. Prasanna said my dad didn't need the RSV vaccine because he had it a year ago. Hands down, Southpoint Pharmacy's the best place to get your meds (and your vaccines!).

Can’t say enough great things about this pharmacy and more importantly the people that work there. From knowing your name and greeting you as you walk through the door to the skills the pharmacist has working with our insurance provider he is just always on the ball and makes things so much easier for us. I always hated going to the pharmacy due to long lines and pharmacists who just didn’t seem to really care but at this location if there is a wait it’s minimal and overall they care.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful local pharmacy, and I strongly recommend them. The level of caring and personalized service is completely unmatched by any of the large chain stores, and I will never to back to using one of them as long as I remain in the RDU area.

Switched from Walgreens. You should too. This is the place they recognize you as you walk in. Fast. Friendly. Prescriptions and some other health related, but not endless aisles of stuff and crowds of people. They do close at 6pm and have a short open time on Saturdays, it has been no problem to get there before closing. If you value your time and want to reduce frustration, this should be your new pharmacy.

This is the best pharmacy I have ever had in my life. Prasana ( pharmacist) needs to be on a TV commercial. He is excellent, empathetic, courteous, very intelligent and prompt. Practically our whole neighborhood gets their meds at Southpoint Pharmacy on Fayetteville Rd.

Switching from a national pharmacy chain to a locally owned pharmacy was the best decision I’ve made all year. No more jumping through hoops to talk to a human, and the staff here are always kind and helpful. The pharmacist (prasana) actually took the time to help me find a coupon when my medications needed a prior authorization but I needed to fill the prescription too soon to wait.

Cannot recommend more highly! Switched my whole family over from the Walgreens and I’m kicking myself for not doing it years ago. Professional, personal, FAST, and they call you as soon as it’s filled or immediately if there’s any issue—no more waiting for days and hearing nothing from Walgreens, or waiting and waiting in long lines. Customers for life!

I would like to let people know what a horrible business this is. Today I went to inquire about getting a drug that I need because of serious health issues.
When I inquired about what I needed he asked me what insurance I had and then informed me he did not take that insurance. I could if I had the coupon pay the $550 cost of the drug I required. That it was in stock. I left the store disappointed. But on HIS recommendation I rang my insurance company. While my online pharmacy (which doesn't over night my drug like he told me they would) was trying to find somebody who had the 5.0mg in stock informed me about my ability to be able to use insurance at Southpoint Pharmacy! I was surprised but thought maybe he had made a mistake, maybe he didn't mean to tell me that my insurance wasn't valid when it was.
I rang the store back. He confirmed that he LIED to me. This is a medical professional lying to somebody who really needs a particular drug. When challenged about the lie he and I quote said "Yes I lied".
I am warning people stay well away from a Pharmacy that LIES to potential customers could do serious damage to people's health in future.
