Always great service, fast, and convenient. It’s the only place we go to for glass issues.

People are very nice but it took them 3 times and 1 month to get my windshield replaced on my Volvo. Next time I will just go to the dealer.

From the very beginning, super easy process. From setting up the claim- making an on-site appointment- and getting the repair done. Our technician Jason was excellent with communication and we knew exactley when he would arrive. He sent updates via text message and phone call and arrived within the allotted time window. Of course, it had to start raining and we had to move things around the garage to allow for the car to be "partially" parked inside. Jason was willing to squeeze himself into the tight garage and got the replacement done accurately and with great care.Very good experience overall.

There was a minor issue getting the windshield camera recalibrated after windshield replacement, so I had to come back a second time. However, they were apologetic and accommodating and made things right by replacing the windshield wipers as consolation for my time. They were also proactive in working with my insurance company to get approval for the claim (initially declined by insurance) before my return appointment. My insurance company was less helpful (as one might expect).

These guys don't know what they're doing. Use another location. I got my windshield install a few months ago, but I was experiencing air leaks, I took the car back and they insisted that everything was OK., but it was very obvious that something was wrong. I call the store to talk with the manager, explained to him what's going on, he decided to schedule me for another installment. When I got the etc. I was told that glass was cracked and there's glue all on the outside of the side of the glass like the use the glue to sealed it and in order for them to fix it. They will hv to buy that part first. They're useless ? more than likely busy on their phones not focusing on their work. I'm very disappointed ? because they make me look stupid when they were at fault. Nothing was install properly how the hell the mirror just drop off like that, after I barely touched it. Kmt

They have a nice coffee bar. A nice Keurig dispenser with multiple flavors and tea. The coffee was really good. Liquid and powdered creamer. Friendly service. 8 seats in the lobby. They sell wipers if you so desire. They have free wifi in the lobby. It was a very pleasant experience. Went in for a chip and was out in under an hour. Safelite appears to have taken car of the insurance and the cost was $0.00. Definitely worth the call.

They did not show up for their first two appointments. I really dislike Safelite and hope my insurance company Amica drops them soon as it reflects very poorly on Amica as well.

This is for the one on 3633 Durham-Chapel Hill road in Durham. Geez, this place is sad and no wonder! My sedan had been broken into and my insurance suggested that I go to this location to have my drivers side front and rear windows wrapped, broken glass picked up and seats and floor vacuumed...standard procedure I was informed. No appointment was needed so I drove over. The lady at the front desk was friendly and very informative...maybe she should be the GM because in my view she represents the company very well. The floor manager wasn't quite as good, in fact he was quite flippant about what I was told would be done vs what was really going to happen. I didn't get his name but the only thing he had done was to wrap the affected windows in cellophane. NO clean up, NO vacuum! He said that they normally provide those services but they had to 'keep it moving' which blew my mind. They even wrapped the driver side window instead of just clearing the entire window they just wrapped it up with the opening which created a porthole to look out of...this created low visibility and was very dangerous! Once I'd gotten there I did read the bad reviews and after being there, I fully concur. The sad thing is, it seems that management won't step in to correct as this has been going on for quite some time from what I've read...Sad.Oh, after my visit I drove 45 miles to Safelight in Burlington and was treated & serviced appropriately.

The technicians at the shop were very professional, were very knowledgeable, and did excellent work! However, I gave 4 stars because it is absolutely impossible to get in touch with the actual shop location. Every phone number goes to their call center and while the customer service folks are generally nice, they can’t seem to give you any specific information. When they say they’ll send a message to have someone call you back, no one calls you back. It’s just very frustrating.

Had to take car there 3 times for windshield. First time the new windshield was scratched and had to reschedule. Second time they had to get another windshield from another location. Third time was to recalibrate. Told to bring car in and it only takes 20 minutes. Took an hour and a half.

Recently had my car broken into while at work and needed my driver side driver window replaced. Was able to get a replacement fairly quickly. Unfortunately this replacement was short lived and after 2 weeks, my window could be pulled out from the car fully intact. Went back to this Safelite that Wednesday to see what could be done but they didn't have an appointment until Saturday morning which is fine, I understand they're busy especially with all the break ins lately. Take the car in that Saturday, come back later that afternoon after work assuming the car would be ready (did not receive a call or txt about updates). I was disappointed to arrive with crash wrap still on my window. I then go in and the manager at the front desk proceeded to tell me that my regulator was broken and needed to be replaced. Again this would've been something I would feel would warrant a phone call to notify the customer and give them options on how to rectify the matter. The manager said that a new window was placed but it would not be useable until the regulator was replaced. He then proceeded to tell me that I would need to buy a regulator myself and come back and pay out of pocket for them to install the regulator and fix the window. By this time it was down pouring with the recent tropical storm but I'm curious why the issue wasn't just fixed and billed for it later or even roll the new window up and lock it in place instead of leaving me with crash wrap again which wasn't even applied correctly. Overall, really disappointed in the lack of communication regarding updates/texts about the vehicles status, the lack of initiative to rectify an issue within the employees/companies abilities and the relaxed customer service/work ethic demonstrated. Will never go back.

You will never get these people on the phone, its like they have the system jail-locked to not let you speak to any human being. And when you finally get through they have to connect you from a separate call center, it’s excruciating and frustrating. I was calling for job opportunities, i can imagine the level of stress when you cant get an answer and they have your car. If interested in working, beware that you may not be responded to in the time they say will respond. Especially from the store manager himself.
