I stumbled across Red Mill L&N while driving. I drove in to look around and it was very nice to hear that I didn't have to walk all over the 7 acres of property. Once we got there the selection was wonderful. It is obvious they do a great job with the growth and prep of the trees. We found a wonderful magnolia and we're excited to see how it does.

If a plant is tagged wrong, they will not honor the tag prices for the mistake that wasn't there.
They have exciting plants you may be looking for. Take a stroll and find something to catch your eye.
But other than that, this weekend until the 12th or 15th is Mother's Day 15% of the flowering shrubs and flowers and vines.

We ordered some dirt to be delivered for our raised garden beds. I called and spoke with a man on the phone to order and he said that the compost I wanted would be way too hot for vegetables and to get this blend that was 50%compost, 25% topsoil and 25% sand for the raised beds. He wasn’t the friendliest but whatever. I made the order and delivery was easy to set up.
The day before delivery I called to see what time of day (window) it would be delivered. The man was very rude with me stating that it would probably be afternoon but he didn’t know and if I wanted a call before they come the day of delivery and I should have asked for one (I had requested this call when ordering which he then said he saw that in the file)
Day of delivery we received no phone call, I left the tarp out in case and when I came home it had been delivered with a receipt stating “call before delivery” and the correct phone number.
The product:
It’s super sandy. We moved all of it into the raised beds and idk exactly how much sand is in here but it’s a lot. The top of the beds are hard after it rains at all and the places we put it in our yard are very sandy as well. Is it possible it’s 25%? Absolutely. But it’s not the beautiful compost mix I was hoping for. We shall see what grows. I’ll update back.
Update: things grew well in the soil. The top was pretty hard most of the time but it didn’t seem to cause any issues with the plants.

Love going here to get bulk dirt. Much more affordable than Home Depot bags! They always do an amazing job loading it into the back of my truck as well.

Great local nursery. They have nice selection of flowers and perennials but what is really impressive is the tree selection. So many varieties and sizes to choose from. We will definitely be back.

Just bought many fruit trees to put in an orchard. They had a good variety of each cultivar that I was looking for. Plus they have great soils and mulches.
