Got there when they opened at 8 and he told me it was a 6 hour wait for a state inspection. You’re better off going to jiffy lube down the street. It only took them 15 minutes to get me in and out.

BEST service around!!!! Everyone is so nice and kind and helps with everything in an efficient manner! Marshall explained everything to me in a way that made sense and saved me money!! I cannot recommend Neal’s Garage enough!!!

I cannot recommend them enough. I came to work because I needed oil and it broke down on the side of the road. They helped me right away and even though they clearly had a busy schedule that day, they got me there in no time. We will be using them for all of our automotive needs going forward and the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

After being in Durham going on 3 years now, I finally found the right auto mechanic. If I could give these guys six stars I would, and after the last experience I had where I took my car to carmedix only for them to not have fixed my car after literally 8 visits and about 2500 dollars (check out my Carmedix review if you're in the mood for a good horror story)
But I digress... Everyone at Neal's was courteous, professional, kind, and polite and they gave me a loaner car for a few days while they waited for an OEM part I had specified to come in from the manufacturer. Thank you very much!! Awesome all around.

I love this place!! The people there are really nice. They get work done on my car within hours whereas the dealership would always have me waiting like 6 hours just to replace one lightbulb lol. They are always really honest and don’t charge for anything that isn’t needed. I love taking my car there because I know they’ll take good care of her! State inspection is only $30 when I went there last. I’d recommend them for anything!

I lucked into finding Neal's Garage a few years ago when I was sick of getting huge repair bills from my dealership. These guys do great work, are trustworthy, reliable, and have fair prices. I highly recommend using Neal's Garage for everyday car repair needs. They have also have an easy appointment scheduling system on their website!

Update: we've been taking cars to Neal's for many years, and they continue to deliver great, timely service. Marshall is responsive and direct - tells you exactly what to expect, and always checks in before doing any work. They've helped us in a pinch more than once, and we'll continue to spread the word.

Took our Honda here and saved 60-70% of the cost of repairs vs the Honda dealership. They also identified that a repair DID NOT need to be made which is the mark of a really honest mechanic. Been coming here for years.
They are also extremely organized and great at communicating.

I recently switched from another local garage over to Neals because I wasn't getting great customer service at where I was. Donny was fantastic, got me setup for a service on my vehicle, and took excellent care of my vehicles. I plan on using Neals for all my vehicle service going forwards.
