Friendly staff and excellent care. They were very busy the day I went and I was seen on time and never felt rushed. The doctor has a great personality and is very professional and knowledgeable.

Where do I start? I was warmly greeted when I first walked in by the sweetest person I'd talked to all day. I was called right back for the first part of my exam, where the attendant took so much time patiently walking me through everything, even though I couldn't remember my contacts exactly and it took her a bit to find the right kind. She even got stuck doing one of my tests three different times but never waivered in making me feel like I was her only person even though I knew the waiting room was packed.
Then I met my eye doctor and she is AMAZING. Such a sweet and supportive personality, she made me feel seen, heard, and walk me through her suggestions on a prescription change with so much care and compassion.
Top it off with a quick experience getting my bill paid with nothing but smiles, warm wishes, and thanks for coming in... this was an easy review to give. There are offices a lot closer to where I live but I'll make the drive for the staff at this office because they are all fantastic.

I have had the most wonderful experience visiting my optometrist Dr. Rhodes at My Eye Doctor located at 3101 Shannon Road here in Durham N.C. I received not only extreme professionalism but courtesy and a wealth of information that was shared with me. The staff was awesome and I intend on making my visits a yearly routine. If you are in need of an exceptional eye doctor and reside in the Durham area I strongly recommend you visit this place of establishment.

I have my first visit at this location, and I was so happy with all the people work in there starting with the receptionist, the tech who does the eyes test, the Dr and the guy who's help me to pick my glasses. Thank you to all of your perfect customer service. Keep with the good work!

i came in for my appointment today 03/05 & they canceled my appointment because i didn’t confirm the appointment through a phone call but i was sent multiple emails confirming my appointment so i don’t understand how one phone call canceled the whole appointment .

I've use My Eye Doctor locations for my sons and myself for several years with a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, it was not the case for this location. My prescription was inaccurate from my initial appt in Jan, after an attempt to correct the prescription in Feb. was unsuccessful I requested a refund. This experience has caused a time consuming inconvience as I now need to find a new vision care office and work with my insurance company to ensure that I will still be entitled to my yearly eye exam.

I LOVED my experience at this office! I have anxiety and going in for ANY checkup usually overstimulates and stresses me out. I love that this office is full of POC and black professionals, which just added to my comfort. The office vibe is friendly and serene and I LOVED Dr. Rhodes and Ms. Paula!
