Extremely slow service and unprofessional. The guy who helped me to pay for the visit was not insurance savvy and got really confused but made no attempt to try to get me out of there faster. I felt like I was watching him just sit there and do nothing for way too long when I gave up precious time from work to be there. At least make it seem like you are trying to help me! The staff seemed really bored, unfriendly, generally confused, and unhelpful.

My appointment was scheduled for 4:30 PM. I sat in the waiting room for 35 minutes before being seen. I was not made aware prior to booking the appointment that there would be an extra fee for the type of visit I had. The visit was mostly virtual. The staff did offer an opportunity to cancel the virtual fee due to the long wait, which was appreciated. After the exam, I expected to be able to view options for eyeglass frames. The Sales person insisted it would be in my best interest to keep my frames and just order new lenses for my glasses. I felt rushed due to the fact that I was the last patient in the building.I ordered both contact lenses and frames for my glasses. The date online for my contact lenses had a delivery date for a Saturday. I tried calling several times prior to that date to see if they would come in. No one at the facility answers the phone. When I arrived at the facility on that Saturday, and informed the lady at the desk of my issues, getting in touch with someone, she did not seem to care. She offered no apologies. She checked the status of my contacts and because it had a delivery date of Saturday, Her response was “well it Saturday” as if I’m supposed to know deliveries are not made on Saturdays. I was simply going off of what was provided to me online. She told me I could call back on Monday to check the status. I said well how will I get in touch with someone because as I said before no one answers. She said someone would give me a call Monday after taking down my information. I never received that call. I will NEVER use this location, possibly even this company again. RUNNN

Not going to waste more of my time writing you a bad review in detail. You know what you did. Do better.Edited:MyEyeDr. Timeline3/6 AppointmentTold them I have a corneal tear. Dr. was not confident with prescribing prescription so asked that I go to a specialist. That's fine. It was time for me to go to my specialist anyways. They said they would refer me but never did. I had to call my specialist myself.3/16 Went to specialist and got things done. They said there were no issues.3/19 Called MyEyeDr back to get contact and glasses prescription. Told them the specialist cleared me. Left message as they didn't pick up.3/21 No response so I called back again. Did not pick up. Left message.3/26 Called back 5 times.1. Left message.2. Did not pick up.3. Did not pick up.4. Got front desk. Called and requested glasses and contact prescription. Front desk says it was fine and they will send it. I confirmed that she knew I wanted both. Only sent me my glasses5. Called back and asked again about contacts. She says she will get it to me. Never got it to me.3/28 - Called back for contacts1. Did not pick up2. Did not pick up3. Picked up. Told me that she needs to talk to someone else. Elevated me to coworker. Coworker says oh well we have you scheduled for Monday, 4/1 at 2pm. I never made this appointment. They made this appointment without asking me (confirmed by the manager). Elevated me to manager. She says "we need to resee you for your contacts. I scheduled you for Monday at 2" I said I can't do that date as I have a lab (why make an appointment without asking me if I'm okay with it). She gave me other dates but I said none of the dates you mentioned work for me because I will be out of the country or in class. That's why I wanted to get it done a month earlier. She says "okay what about tomorrow (3/29) at 10:45." I said "sure if that's the only time you have. How long will it take." "It shouldn't take too long as we don't have to do a lot of the initial stuff done."Forward to day of 3/29-Got there at 10:45.-Checked in-Got called back at 11:15 (30 minute wait)-Given pamphlet on how to wear contacts (I TOLD THEM I WAS A 10 YEAR WEARER)-Got asked why I didn't bring my own contacts.--I am here for a contacts fitting. Why on EARTH would I bring my own contacts?-Tech takes another HOUR to find the pair they're fitting me for. All the while I'm just sitting there waiting.-Rest of appointment went more smoothly.-Checking out, ordered contacts and given contact prescription. THEY NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT GLASSES. I was so done with the service that I received that I decided to just order online.-Why did a quick contact fitting appointment take 2 total hours to do?-I literally told them that I didn't have much time as I am a full time student with a job. Yet they decided to waste even more of my time by asking me WHY I was pissed. So here you go.

My appointment was supposed to be from 11-12, but I ended up waiting at least 45 minutes and left at 1. They did not tell me I was going to be seen by a virtual doctor. When I was looking through the machine, I could tell it had not been cleaned between patients because there was foundation around the nose area. Hadn’t had any issues at my annual appointment last year.

Went in for routine annual contact lense prescription update with the intent to discuss lasix in February . Majority of appointments are now via zoom which wouldn’t be my preferred choice. First doctor indicated that lasix would be a great option and that a referral to local office would be sent. In the meantime, trials of new contacts were ordered. I was required to come back in to confirm the contacts were fitting before they could order more. This was scheduled at the beginning of March. Within that 3 week time period, I never received a call from a lasix office. At the March follow-up appointment I requested again that a referral be sent, at which point the new doctor indicated that I would not be a good candidate for lasix. Regardless, I requested that a second referral be placed and informed the technicians that I hadn’t previously heard from anyone. I however was able to order a 3 month supply of contacts in the interim with an expected arrival date of 15Mar. It has been a week post promised date and still no update. I have been calling the office throughout the day and have left 2 voicemails. I even called the lasix place and they of course never received a referral. It’s unsettling how difficult it is to get anyone on the phone at this location.

MyEyeDr was bought by private equity firm, and ever since then the quality of care has gone down. You can't see a doctor in person really ever. Almost all appointments are virtual. You get there for your appointment time and they still make you wait 30 minutes. They don't let you wave certain procedures which are listed as optional on the form and cost extra.Go literally anywhere else.

It's been four weeks and not only have they been unable to get my prescription lenses in, they won't answer their phone about it and the online order status has been stuck at "we need a little more time" for three weeks. They also lost my contact lens order. If you absolutely have to, maybe consider their optometrist since that went fine, but don't order your actual lenses through them.

I’ve been calling this office for almost two weeks now trying to schedule an appointment, I’ve even left voicemails and no one will answer the phone or return my phone calls. This is very unprofessional for a business.

No customer service. Noticed three employees when we walked in. No one came over to us (we were looking at frames). I found a pair I liked on a rotating tower and asked the price. The employee behind the desk asked which insurance we have. She went to the back a second and informed us the glasses on that tower are for a different insurance company that has their own frames. Then she sat back down and continued what she was doing with some boxes of contacts. The other two employees were in the back. My husband and I were the only customers. No pointing out other frames, perhaps unlocking the frames in view and drawers of frames we couldn't see... We left. My husband said that earlier when two women left he heard one say to the other, "You see why I go to the Brier Creek store?" We were shocked at the absence of customer service.

I have been going to MyEyeDr for years and have good experiences. I visited the NC southpoint location today and was anything but good! I made appointment a month prior that was canceled by this location so I rescheduled for a 11:30 appointment time which was not finished until 3:00 and that was with people in front of me leaving. I could see being behind but that long is unheard of. The staff could care less the majority went to lunch together prolonging my visit. My exam room was dirty with no paper towels. It looked as if they had some new staff but apparently this is an ongoing issue at this location. I won’t be visiting this location in the future.
